Good things are happening for Marvel fans as the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been screened at the New York Comic Con, and it seems plenty of surprises await us. During the packed panel for Marvel, Charlie Cox made an appearance on stage and dropped the first trailer for his show's second season. Ahead of it's release date in 2026, we already know a few crucial details about what the show is bringing fans in it's second run.
The first real shocker is that Krysten Ritter is officially back as Jessica Jones, marking her full-blown return to the MCU after years of fans pining over her character. The trailer also shows Elden Hansen, who is returning as Foggy Nelson, although the circumstances around his resurrection aren't known yet. Karen Matt is also spotted, as she shares an intimate moment with Cox's Matt Murdock. Additionally, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin is seen boxing in the trailer, trading his suit for gloves, giving fans a glimpse into the action that awaits fans in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is bringing Matt Murdock back, and this time, he isn't fighting alone. The new chapter is all set to follow Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock as he forms resistance against Wilson Fisk, who is the newly elected mayor of New York and has already unleashed his own Anti-Vigilante Task Force that is set ti take a toll on the city's masked heroes. Continuing the legacy of the Netflix show, old characters are returning with grittier sides and higher stakes as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen continues to stand for the people.
A surprising aspect of the show is that it's going to be directly connected to Marvel's upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as reported by Marvel boss Brad Winerbaum. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the executive producer said,
"We are communicating a lot with the team on Spider-Man: Brand New Day to make sure that there's coherence there. We don't want to spoil anything, but it very much exists in the same world and it is important. It's similar. Everything lines up and the impacts are felt, but we're able to tell different stories."
