Details about Bridgerton Season 4 release news, as new teaser trailer releases

The streaming giant Netflix dropped the much-awaited teaser trailer for Bridgerton Season 4 on Monday, with news about the dates for the upcoming season. While the show will focus on the romance between Benedict and Sophie, the series will be released in two parts.
The first part with four episodes arrives early next year on January 29, 2026, and the second part with the remaining four episodes will be available on February 26, 2026. Therefore, the new season will have eight episodes in total and continue to follow a traditional pattern of eight parts in a web series.
While Luke Thompson will play the part of Benedict Bridgerton, Yerin Ha will play Sophie Baek. According to Variety, other actors like Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, and others will be returning for Bridgerton Season 4.
The official logline states, “The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down—until he meets a captivating lady in silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”
The Bridgerton Season 4 teaser shows the moment when Benedict finds the mysterious Lady in Silver at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball and decides to uncover her identity with his sister Eloise’s help. However, the young lady is Sophie, who is a maid and works for Araminta Gun.
More details about Bridgerton Season 4

Interestingly, the upcoming season is based on the third book in Julia Quinn’s series, An Offer from a Gentleman, as the show changed the order, and the third season of the show was based on the fourth book.
Streaming platform Netflix will adapt all eight books, as each book focuses on the romantic lives of the eight siblings in the Bridgerton family, and according to Variety, the streamer has already renewed the show for Seasons 5 and 6.
According to Tudum, Yerin Ha states that she enjoyed the “fun, play-like quality” that is present in the show, and what attracted her to play Sophie was that her character had layers. “What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles... Whether it’s this battle around social status or trying to hide her feelings from Benedict.”
On the other hand, Thompson states to Tudum that the new season displays the “struggle between a proper old-school fairy tale— the romance of it — and the actual reality of the world.”
Bridgerton Season 4 will be available on Netflix.
