What happened in NCIS: Origins Season 2 Episode 8: A quick recap

youtube-cover

In this episode of NCIS: Origins, everything comes to a head for Gibbs, Lala, and the Franks brothers. The biggest shock is Gibbs suddenly marrying Diane in Las Vegas. Earlier that day, the two had broken up because Diane accepted a job in Los Angeles and Gibbs refused to leave D.C., saying his team is his family.

Soon, Lala confronts him. She accuses Gibbs of always pushing people away, something he did with her as well. Reality hits hard and Gibbs gets drunk. And his next move is completely unexpected, as he straightaway heads to Las Vegas and walks down the aisle with Dianne.

He does care about Dianne a lot, but at this point, it looked like Gibbs' decision was mainly driven by alcohol. At the same time in the episode, Stanley, who lives in the community where Mason Franks stays, walks out of a movie theater right before it suddenly blows up.

This puts Mason and his brother Mike in a difficult spot, especially since Mike had already warned that something was off about Stanley. And this incident just adds to the tension between them.

Lala also feels off in the episode. She told Gibbs how she felt when he didn't visit her. Even though Lala helped Gibbs realize that he did wrong with Dianne, there are unresolved feelings between them.
