Love Island UK star Megan Moore opened up about her journey on the show in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, which aired on August 14, 2025. She attended the interview with co-star and friend, Helena Ford.
Discussing the "divide" among the Islanders on the show, Meg said she had only watched a few clips since leaving the villa. She talked about her facial expressions and how she was getting the "most texts" in the villa. The Love Island UK star also talked about her behavior with the fellow female Islanders.
"I think...since I haven't watched the show back like that, but we've been watching clips like I've watched clips on TikTok and stuff, and like some of the situations I've been in like my facial expressions are horrific. Can I just say, like, they are awful. I don't want...and that's probably why I got the most texts in the villa, cuz they wanted me to react," shared Meg.
Love Island UK: Megan opens up about the "divide" in the villa, her behavior with fellow Islanders, and more
During her recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Meg talked about many interesting incidents from the show. Asked about "divide" among the Islanders and how there were groups, Meg responded that she hadn't watched the full show.
However, she admitted to having watched some clips on social media platforms like TikTok, and from those clips she felt that her facial expressions during some of the situations were "horrific."
The Love Island UK star mentioned it might have been the reason she was the one receiving the texts. It was because they wanted to get her to "react."
Meg also recalled her behavior with some of the "girls" in the villa and said:
"Like some of the stuff I've said, like, I completely hold my hands up and like, wow, that was so uncalled for, like, I shouldn't have spoke to the girls like that that and stuff like that, and like nobody's perfect. But it has taught me a lot about myself being in the show, and like I can only apologize to the girls for the things I've said."
Sharing more about the "divide" among the cast members, the Love Island UK star said it was made out to be "way bigger" than what it really ways.
Meg recalled having "down days" on Saturdays in the villa. She recalled sharing a bed with Tony and Yasmin.
"So, like one down day and on a night, Tony was like, Oh, you were cuddling me in the night. Like, it was quite funny. So, like we all have relationships, but obviously you're going to be closer to others than what you are," shared Meg.
She mentioned that being in the (Love Island UK) villa was "so tense." Meg also spoke about no longer being around someone 24 hours a day, and expressed her opinion on not being on each other's toes.
ITVX now streams Love Island UK Season 12 episodes.
