A recap of Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 Episode 8
Episode 8 pushes us into crisis mode as Mike tries to free Kyle, but that clashes with a cartel war and a volatile prison system.

Mike hatches a plan to secure his brother’s release, but it forces Ian into an assignment that blurs the lines between lawman and criminal. At Anchor Bay, Frank Moses basically asks for repercussions in the cartel hierarchy. This move is violent enough that it could spill into Kingstown.
At the same time, Nina Hobbs’ “olive branch” to Mike clashes with Torres’. So Kyle is left exposed, and in prison, every alliance can turn lethal. The episode ends with the town and the prison both teetering on the edge.
