Love Me brings life to the complexities that relationships go through, along with the depiction of the various stages of relationships. After the death of Jun-kyung and Jun-seo’s mother, Jin-ho decides to set off on the trip he had planned with his wife. There, he meets with Ja-young and soon begins to get emotionally invested in her.

The steady development in his relationship with Ja-young, along with Jun-kyung’s relationship with Do-hyun and Jun-seo’s relationship with Hye-on, becomes the primary focus of this K-drama. In the events of Love Me episodes 7 and 8, their relationships go through many highs and lows.

This can be seen especially with Jun-kyung and Do-hyun’s relationship. They go through a turbulent period because of the arrival of Do-hyun’s past. The next two episodes, that is, episodes 9 and 10 of this slice-of-life K-drama, will drop on January 16 at 8:50 PM KST.

Love Me’s streaming option after airing on JTBC is Viki. As a slice-of-life K-drama featuring the struggles of the relationships of the three couples, the cast of this series is undoubtedly a crucial factor in bringing life to the storyline. Seo Hyun-jin’s depiction of Jun-kyung perfectly brings life to the struggles that Jun-kyung goes through after her relationship finally comes to a positive point.

After spending quite a long time together, Jun-kyung and Do-hyun’s relationship progresses in a positive direction, along with her relationship with Daniel, which grows stronger. However, the manner in which Seo Hyun-jin depicts the emotional dilemma that Jun-kyung goes through after Yun-ju’s arrival leaves an impact.

It is an authentic depiction of the emotional turmoil as Jun-kyung is aware that Do-hyun did nothing wrong in that situation, yet she feels left out because of Yun-ju’s presence. Chang Ryul’s performance as Do-hyun in this series depicts the desire of a father to bond with his son. After years of staying away from each other, Do-hyun is finally united with his son, Daniel.

However, he also wants to have a healthy relationship with Jun-kyung. Yun-ju’s reappearance, along with her desire to rekindle their relationship, is undoubtedly going to create trouble for him and Jun-kyung. These aspects have been perfectly delivered by Chang Ryul through his authentic performance as Do-hyun in Love Me.

Lee Si-woo also does a remarkable job in making Jun-seo’s struggles resonate with realism. In episode 8 of Love Me, Lee Si-woo’s Jun-seo navigates through difficulties because of the stagnant situation of his career. While his classmates have already established themselves, he is still working as a teaching assistant and taking money from his father.

This affects his mental health constantly. Similarly, Dahyun’s performance as Hye-on as she strives to become a successful writer after working immensely hard through her twenties to finally achieve her goal. Yoo Jae-myung and Yoon Se-ah’s performance as Jin-ho and Ja-young is also extremely significant in bringing life to the storyline.

Jae-myung makes Jin-ho’s constant dilemma about choosing his own happiness resonate deeply. Se-ah’s performance in depicting Ja-young’s desire to never stop trying and working hard towards her happiness also leaves an impact on the viewers. It cannot be denied that each and every cast member of this series is delivering an impeccable performance through their corresponding characters, making this series worth watching.
