Love Is Blind star Marissa George feels like a different person when she watches herself on the screen after a year on the show. The filming of season 7 was completed in 2023, and there at present, when Marissa witnessed her and Ramses' relationship in the show, it brought out different emotions in her.
During an exclusive interview with Glamour Magazine on October 23, 2024, Marissa opened up about the key moments from her journey with Ramses and also discussed post-show dynamics with him.

According to her, the former couple's journey had major gaps, and their struggle was mostly off-camera, therefore fans did not witness the series of events that led to their tiresome breakup in the finale.
The Love Is Blind couple encountered many problems during their initial days, as Ramses pointed out their intimacy was an issue. He also had an issue with Marissa's military career but she brushed it off, thinking it wasn't a big deal. In the interview with Glamour Magazine, Marissa admittedly said;
"Looking back a year later, where I’m in a different headspace, I was trying to make a lot of concessions. I wanted to be with him, and I wanted it to work so bad that I was willing to be like, ‘Okay, you’re making me feel bad about my career but we can get past that.’ And now I’m like, Dude, no.”
Marissa gets candid about her off-camera conversations with Ramses from Love Is Blind Season 7
The finale of Love Is Blind Season 7 sent fans into shock as they entered into a gloomy breakup scenario of Ramses and Marissa. Looking at Marissa, crying her heart was as sad as it was troubling for the fans.
The 32-year-old lawyer opened up about the gaps fans witnessed while watching her and Ramses journey. The couple had many moments where there was an abrupt jump to the concluding scenes.
Like the one in episode 10 of Love Is Blind, where the audience witnessed the couple talking about their intimacy issues. During her interview with the Glamour Magazine, Marissa explained what exactly happened, and how the conversation panned out. She said:
"I have an autoimmune disease. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so I tend to get sick and my body hurts and I don’t want to be touched. And there’s been a few times before that where he’s petting me and I’m overstimulated."
She further explained:
"So he brings all that up, and then we start filming right after that. At that point, I go to the balcony to get some air. I get really sensitive about my autoimmune disease, and I’m like, “Is he not going to want to be with me if I’m chronically ill?”
Love Is Blind star Marissa also opened up about her post-show relationship with Ramses and mentioned that it took her almost six months to sink into the breakup. She met Ramses after the show a few times in DC and got a little impression of getting back after a 9-hour call with Ramses.
However, the couple did not reconcile and Marissa also expressed that she wanted the fans to not think of Ramses as a horrible person. She said:
"Me and him now do communicate and have a fairly decent…I wouldn’t call it friendship, but we can have a conversation. He is not the horrible person that everyone thinks he is. I just think he has a lot of stuff he needs to work on, and until he goes to therapy, he will continue to struggle with who he is as a person."
