"It's gonna be fantastic": Celebrity IOU's guest star Mario Lopez on his coloring skills

Celebrity IOU Season 11 Episode 3 featured Mario Lopez as the guest star. He surprised his childhood friend Tuddy with his plans for renovating his kitchen and study. Mario went to visit Tuddy's home with Jonathan and Drew Scott. They planned the design, and after finalizing the changes, they started working on it.

While going through and coloring the kitchen cupboard doors, Jonathan showed Mario various modern gadgets for painting. Jonathan asked Mario about his painting skills. Mario replied:

"Well, if it's as good as my coloring, then it's gonna be fantastic. I haven't done much, to be quite honest."

Celebrity IOU Season 11 Episode 3: Mario Lopez works with Drew and Jonathan Scott on his childhood friend's kitchen and study renovation

The recently released Celebrity IOU episode featured Mario Lopez meeting Drew and Jonathan Scott. It was for his childhood friend, Tuddy's kitchen and study renovations. Mario Lopez shared:

"I'm really grateful that you guys helped me out with my boy, Tuddy. I've known Tuddy since I was, what, 12, 13 years old?..... And so then we've been working together now almost 20 years."

Further, he shared that the areas that needed renovation in Tuddy's house were the kitchen and the classroom area, for their children's homeschooling. They decided to surprise Tuddy.

Soon, they arrived at his house and surprised him. Mario shared:

"So, Tuddy and I have been boys for a long time, since we were kids.....Tuddy definitely knows me and understands me probably better than most people."

Mario mentioned that Tuddy's wife had a medical issue, and he wanted to help them through it. She had an emergency spine surgery. So they couldn't have done the renovation for a little while.

Later, in a Celebrity IOU episode, after finalizing the design, they started with the renovations. They began their work by tearing down unnecessary platforms, cupboards, and some doors.

On the second day, they had both spaces cleared out. After that, they worked on framing, roughing, and plumbing. They also worked on the electrical aspects. Jonathan showed updated plans of the structure. Mario thought that it was much better and functional. He confessed:

"Jonathan's cool, and we kind of think alike and add very similar ideas."

Jonathan shared that they would have two-tone cabinets in the kitchen with a porcelain countertop. After installing the kitchen cabinets, Celebrity IOU's Jonathan asked Mario about his painting skills. He showed Mario the painting tools and mentioned that it was a lightweight setup. So it was easy.

Mario told him that he was impressed by all the modern gadgetry. He asked Jonathan about traditional coloring paint brushes and other tools. Jonathan showed Mario how the paint tools worked. The guest star felt that the colors were nice and that Tuddy and his family were going to like them.
