It is the age of superheroes. From Invincible's Omni-Man to DCU's Superman and The Boys' Superman, superheroes are currently reigning over our watchlists. Witnessing the different superheroes from various worlds always brings up the question of who is more powerful and who would defeat the other in a fight.

It is an age-old tendency to imagine our superheroes standing against each other, trying to guess which of them would be the strongest and the last man standing in case a fight were to ensue. In a recent conversation with Collider, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman contributed his own two cents about Superman, Omni-Man, and Homelander engaging in a fight.

Here's what he had to say about the scenario.

From James Gunn's Superman on the silver screen to Robert Kirkman's Omni-Man, this year saw the return of several heroes. This brought on the age-old discussion of who would win in a fight. The conversation went so far ahead that even the Invincible creator, Robert Kirkman, weighed in with his opinions.

Because Kirkman is not only the creator of Invincible but also one of the people involved in the illustration of Omni-Man, his opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, the man has some very strong opinions about the same.

In a recent conversation with Collider, he was questioned about who he thinks would win in a fight between Omni-Man, Homelander, and Superman.

First off, Kirkman dismisses Homelander before even saying anything else. He explains that even keeping aside the fact that Homelander is not a hero, the world of The Boys is extremely grounded. So, Homelander can't stand against any of these heroes, be it Invincible, Marvel, or the DCU. Therefore, in a fight between the three, according to Kirkman, Homelander would definitely not be the winner.

"Well, Homelander is a weakling. And that's not any kind of antagonistic thing. It's a very grounded world, and so Homelander, on the scale of other superheroes, is very low."

He then went on to consider the possibility of Omni-Man versus Superman and had very strong opinions about the conclusion that Omni-Man would win against Superman. He even went ahead to conclude that Omni-Man would "trash" Superman in a fight.

He goes on to explain that whenever he expresses his thoughts about Omni-Man defeating Superman, the Superman fans rise to cite Superman's abilities, such as moving planets in his prime, in front of him. To this, he tells them that Omni-Man could do that as well, and it's not that big of a feat.

"But Superman sucks. Omni-Man takes him down easily. I've said this before. Every time I say it, a bunch of Superman fans, if you can believe there is such a thing, come out of the woodwork and attack me online as if I said something that's not definitively and indisputably true."

He goes on to add:

"But Omni-Man would completely trash that guy. Superman, 'Oh my gosh, in the golden age, he moved planets.' Okay, whatever. Who knows if Omni-Man could do that? Maybe he could. Maybe pay attention to Season 4. Who knows? But, yeah, I think that Superman is absolute trash."

The Invincible creator has some very strong opinions regarding the fight. However, it is actually hard to imagine that anybody, even Omni-Man, would be able to fight and win over the Man of Steel.

Kirkman does ask us to hold on till Season 4 before judging the fight's results, but comment below to tell us who you think would win in a fight between Omni-Man and Superman.
