The recently released Love Is Blind: Italy Reunion featured Karen and Nicola. They discussed how things ended after their wedding. The two got into an argument that resulted in their split.
However, Nicola revealed that his feelings had not yet changed. He shared how he felt for her and also apologized for his behavior.

The show hosts noted that there was a chance of winning Karen back, from her gaze and her body language. Nicola noted that he had learned from his mistakes and that he would try that.
"I feel like I've understood my mistakes, and I wanna try to win her back," shared Nicola.

During the reunion, Love Is Blind: Italy star Karen recalled the huge fight she and Nicola had after their wedding day. It was after she booked a fancy hotel for him. The two parted ways after that because of the financial differences.
Later, the hosts revealed video messages received from Nicola over the past year. Karen asked why he hadn't yet apologized to her for the harsh words.
"You never did that. Never...You were always trying to get us back together, to try again," said Karen.
Nicola responded that he had thought about it and shared:
"I'm a person who, until I hit my head against a wall, until I feel bad about it, or until I really miss someone...I wanna be seen as a strong man, and I don't actually act like a man because I think a man is someone who apologizes."
The Love Is Blind: Italy star added:
"And I apologize for that, too. I apologize for using strong, harsh words. I didn't really mean anything I said, and any of the words that I used don't describe you at all because you are really an amazing woman. I really feel like an idiot. An idiot."
Karen told him that he could have called her during the past year. She swore that she would have forgiven him. It was because she loved him very much.
Nicola talked about his video messages. He said that he wanted to see her and apologize. She told Nicola that if he really loved and cared for her, things should be done differently.
Love Is Blind: Italy star Nicola said that his feelings for Karen had not changed. They were still there.
"For me, this experiment...is Karen from A to Z. And I hope it's not just a memory that I can relive it fully because it's...it's her," confessed Nicola.
The host noted that there was room to win Karen back. She asked Nicola to win her back, as she could see from Karen's gaze that there was still an opening. Nicola agreed and expressed his interest in winning her back.
Karen replied that she loved him so much and wanted to keep him in her life forever.
