The newly released K-drama, Head Over Heels, is making waves among fans and viewers, thanks to its engaging story that blends teenage love with supernatural twists. At the heart of the story is a high school girl named Park Seong-ah, an ordinary student during the day, but hides a secret life as a powerful shaman, known by the name Fairy Cheonji.

Things get complicated when her first crush, Bae Gyeon-u, transfers to her school. Their story, though romantic on the surface, quickly turns dark when Seong-ah learns that Gyeon-woo is destined to die within 21 days.

What's even worse is that Gyeon-u doesn't believe in Shamans due to his past experiences with con artists. However, Seong-ah understands her concern and still decides to change his fate. As seen in the premiere, Seong-ah has now begun her mission to protect her first love.

Episode 3 came out yesterday, with Head Over Heels Episode 4 scheduled to come out today, July 1, 2025. It will arrive on the popular local TV channel, tvN, for South Korean viewers, while international fans have to tune in to Amazon Prime Video.

What happened in Head Over Heels Episode 3: A quick recap

Episode 3 of Head Over Heels continues with the unexpected passing of Gyeon-u's grandmother, who also happened to be the only one from his family who loved and raised him. Ok-sun's death left him heartbroken, and Seong-ah rushed to the funeral as a Shaman.

She even called Ji-ho to attend the funeral, and the two best friends were shocked to see how Gyeon-u's family treats him. His parents didn't want to see him even at his grandmother's passing.

Following the tragic event, Gyeon-u starts having suicidal thoughts, which attracts the suicide ghost. Seong-ah sees the ghost and learns about it. Her mother, who was busy performing another rite, explained to Seong-ah that she needs to become an amulet for Gyeon-u by drawing them on her body.

This will allow her warmth to pass on to Gyeon-u to keep away the suicide ghost. She also ensured Gyeon-u feels happy, and at the end of the day, the suicide ghost went away. However, Seong-ah then noticed a Baby Ghost whom she would handle in the next episode.

Additionally, another Shaman named Yeom-hwa is also introduced in Head Over Heels Episode 3, who is expected to play a major role in Gyeon-u's life. The former archer has been receiving cruel messages from a woman, and it might be Yeom-hwa.
