The actress revealed her reaction to learning that her character was the mastermind behind Foggy's death:
"It's hard. I mean, first of all, because I understand, you know, as Ayelet, what the role of Foggy represents for the fans. I'm like, 'Ah, I'm feeling all feelings'. But also at the same time, I understand that there's always consequences."
The actress further expressed her gratitude to the Daredevil: Born Again writers for bringing more dimensions to her character:
"Listen, they gave Vanessa this season so much intrigue and power and complications and emotional journey that I have gratitude towards it, because even though, you know, sometimes I was worried, now that I know what we've done, I'm proud and I'm happy about it."

What is Daredevil: Born Again about?
Born Again serves as a revival of the original Netflix show starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/The Man Without Fear and Vincent D'Onofrio as his archnemesis Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Born Again picks up approximately seven years after the conclusion of Daredevil Season 3, where Ben Poindexter had his back and Matt had one-upped Fisk. Now, seven years later, New York has changed.
