Im YoonA and Lee Chae-min's much-anticipated K-drama, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, has arrived and already become a fan-favorite. Thanks to its engaging tale of a three-Michelin-star chef unexpectedly time-slipping into the Joseon era.
While Yoona plays Chef Yeong Ji-young, Lee appears as the King of Lee-heon, who captures Ji-young after misunderstanding her as a witch. Since everything happened so fast, Ji-young refuses to believe that she's really in the Joseon era until the King makes her the head Chef.

The first episode was quite interesting, and fans must now be excited for the next chapter. The good news is that Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 1 is arriving today which is Sunday, August 24, 2025 on Netflix and tvN.

Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 2: Everything to know
Episode 2 of the latest K-drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is scheduled to arrive on August 24, 2025. In South Korea, the episode will come out on the local TV channel tvN at 9:10 pm KST.
As for the international fans, you can tune in to Netflix to enjoy the K-drama. New episodes will be available on the same day they air on tvN until the finale. Lately, dramas have been following a weekly schedule, and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty will also follow a two-episode per week schedule (Sat-Sun).
Currently, there's no other or free option to enjoy the K-drama as it exclusively comes out on tvN for locals and Netflix for the entire globe. To stream the show, a paid subscription is required as Netflix isn't offering a free trial.

What happened in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 1: A quick recap
The first episode of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty begins with Ji-young and another woman being taken to the King. Soon after reaching the court, the people suggest that the King kill the woman for confusing his senses.
The King agrees with the men present at the court, and says that she indeed confused him, and now she'll be the chief royal cook. This shocks everyone, as they expected the King would give the death penalty, but instead, he made Ji-young the head chef, and now she must prepare a new dish for him every day.
Then Ji-young explains to the audience how she got into the Joseon era from 2025. Ji-young has made it to the final round of a French competition, which will decide the world's next best chef.
Eventually, Ji-young wins the title after making a steak using a technique from the Joseon era. She was headed to become a three-Michelin-starred chef, but little did Ji-young know that her life would turn upside down.
While traveling in a plane, Ji-young finds out that his father's antique book has coffee on it, after a passenger mistakenly spilled it on her. As Ji-young reads it, she finds that it's actually a cookbook and a romantic novel from the Joseon era.
It's also the day of the solar eclipse, and soon after Ji-young read the last four lines, she slips back to the Joseon era. There, she meets King Lee-heon, and their interaction is filled with humor. Ji-young refuses to believe Lee-heon is a King and thinks he's an actor who might have lost his mind.
On the other side, King Lee-heon is confused by her words and attire. Later, she saves his life from a rebel and ties him and takes the King to a place where they can rest. It's a restricted area made only for the King to hunt, so there's barely a human living there.
However, Ji-young found someone and even made food for her, the young woman named Gil-geum, and Lee-heon. They're amazed to taste the food made by Ji-young, and Gil-geum praises her.
Later, she takes Ji-young to wash her hair and find the handbag that King Lee-heon previously threw. It has the book through which Ji-young might get back to 2025. Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 1 ends with the soldiers finally rescuing King Lee-heon.
The King orders to find Ji-young as he believes she's a "rebel". When the soldiers find the women, they take them to the palace, most likely to punish them.
What to expect from Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 2?
The preview shows King Lee-heon asking Ji-young, "Where are you from?", and she explains that she came from 500 years in the future. Lee-heon then mentions that he's not taking her life today, and then the women are locked up inside the jail.
In today's episode, Ji-young will prepare a dish that will touch King Lee-heon's heart, and instead of killing her, he will give her a big responsibility. The episode is expected to continue its engaging tone.
