NBC aired a special episode, America's Got Talent: Greatest Golden Buzzers!, on July 22, 2025. It featured some of the most amazing performances that received the iconic Golden Buzzer.
One of those performances was from Victory Brinker from America's Got Talent Season 16, who was just nine at the time. On receiving the first-ever group Golden Buzzer, she also became the youngest recipient.
Victory's musical performance left the judges stunned and they later decided to give her a group Golden Buzzer for her outstanding performance.
America's Got Talent: Victory Brinker — Youngest Golden Buzzer receiver in the show's history
America's Got Talent (AGT) fans must know the iconic Golden Buzzers are awarded to the most spectacular performances on the show. Among all those iconic moments, one Golden Buzzer win that was truly epic was the one given to Victory Brinker on Season 16.
A native of Latrobe, Pennsylvania Victory was merely 9 years old when she appeared for her AGT audition. Victory told the cameras:
"When I'm singing, it makes me feel happy, happy, and happy."
As for her mother, she said, Victory sings during "morning, noon, and night." For her America's Got Talent audition, she felt "ex-nervous." When the judges asked, she mentioned she felt excited and nervous. After the introduction, she performed a classic opera song. It was Juliet's Waltz, a French opera song.
The judges and the audience were mesmerized as soon as she started singing. Victory left everyone speechless with her vocals. The judges — including Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum — loved her performance. Show host Terry Crews cheered for her, too.
"I was not expecting that you're angelic and I loved it. I loved it," said Howie Mandel.
Heidi loved Victory's performance and added that she had a "beautiful voice" which was "incredible." Sofia, agreeing with Heidi, said Victory was a "star." She said Victory had a "powerful voice" and that she "really loved" it.
America's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell had something else in mind. For that, he asked the host Terry Crews to join the judges. He then told Victory:
"Look, Victory, as I said, you know, turning up in terms of your career is really important. However, we're not going to give you a yes today... We're gonna do something else we've never, ever, ever done on the show before. We're all going to give you something special."
All four judges and host Terry pressed the Golden Buzzer together. Victory became the first ever performer to receive the Group Golden Buzzer. Additionally, she also became the youngest recipient of the iconic buzzer.
Listening to Simon, Victory felt "scared" because she was not expecting a group Golden Buzzer. She recalled that at the time, her heart "raced." She didn't know what was going to happen. Victory also said that she felt as if the judges were going to press their red buzzers altogether.
For the fans wondering, what is Victory doing these days — she has continued her musical journey.
Upcoming America's Got Talent Season 20 episode will air on July 29, 2025.
