All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has been one of the most anticipated horror K-dramas on Netflix. Season 1 came out in January 2022 and was renewed for Season 2 in June of the same year. However, due to several production delays, filming of Season 2 took a long time to begin.

In 2025, fans learned exciting news that filming of All of Us Are Dead was underway. Recent reports suggest that filming of the anticipated Season 2 of the zombie apocalyptic K-drama will wrap up in mid-February 2026. While a release date has not been confirmed, it is speculated that the K-drama will premiere in either December 2026 or early 2027.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 will reportedly wrap up filming in February 2026

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 began filming in July 2025, setting the record for the longest gap between two seasons of a Netflix original series, as Season 1 premiered in 2022. While fans have to wait longer for the Season 2 release, filming for the upcoming Season is nearing its end, as it is reported that February 2026 will be the month when Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead wraps up.

According to What's On Netflix, there is no official confirmation about the release date for All of Us Are Dead Season 2, but it is expected to premiere in 2027. Furthermore, it was also revealed that the Gangwon Provincial Government Building is one of the prominent filming locations for the upcoming season, where more filming will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026.


What will be the plot of All of Us Are Dead Season 2?

Season 2 of the zombie apocalyptic K-drama will explore the aftermath of what happened in Hyosan High School and how the survivors are coping with the trauma of it. As per Netflix, in Season 2, Park Ji-hu's character Nam On-jo will be seen studying in College in Seoul, where she will face another deadly situation and will have to fight for her survival again.

While Season 1 ended with the cliffhanger about Lee Cheong-san's fate, who we saw last in the explosion with Gwi-nam, Yoon Chan-young's inclusion in the ensemble cast of Season 2 gave fans hope that Cheong-san's story might not be over yet. Along with him, Lomon, who played Su-hyeok, and Cho Yi-hyun, who plays Nam-ra, will also return for the upcoming chapter.

Along with the returning cast, Netflix had also announced the new cast members who join the K-drama in Season 2.

  • Lee Min-jae as Yong Ma-ru
  • Yoon Ga-i as Lee Jong-a
  • Roh Jae-won as Han Du-seok
  • Kim Si-eun as So Ju-ram

Other than these, Seo Ji-hoon, Ahn Dong-goo, Han Hyun-jun, Kim Min, and Ryu Sung-Rok will also appear in Season 2 of the zombie apocalyptic K-Drama on Netflix.
