Emily and Cal get attacked on train in Absentia Season 3 Episode 6
Absentia Season 3 Episode 6 starts with Cal having flashbacks from his military days when he accidentally shoots a young boy. Emily and Cal are en route to the Austrian border aboard a train in the hopes that they find Nick on time and help rescue him. They both share a comfortable relationship as they talk about more personal things, giving the perfect picture of a happy couple. It even looks like the onlookers are buying their act.
Suddenly, in the carriage, Emily and Cal are attacked. Emily succeeds in knocking out the attacker and helps Cal. They throw the assailants out of the train. After they head back to their carriage, while they are undressing, Emily sees Cal’s scar.
In Absentia Season 3 Episode 6, Cal tells Emily that he got the long scar while on duty in the Middle East and recalls the moment he inadvertently shot a teenage boy. He tried to help the boy, but the mother suddenly came and struck Cal with a knife, which left the scar. But the story doesn’t end there, as his leader kills the mother and asks Cal to end the boy as well. His boss told him that it was either the boy or his friend. He had to make the hard choice, and the guilt still haunts him even after a long time since the incident.
Emily is empathetic towards him, as Cal decided to save his friend but paid a heavy price. Overridden by emotions, they share an intimate moment together. Emily even confesses her love for him.
On the other hand, Warren and Flynn have found a temporary safe haven at a farmhouse. Flynn shares some quality time with his grandfather, who is planning to face any possible situation they may encounter.
Special Agent Crown is on the hunt to track down the mole. He starts looking into credit reports. He talks to Julianne’s ex, Michelle, about her debt, but she stands her ground and says it was hers. Julianne reaches out to Michelle to share her gratitude.
Crown later tells Julianne that there is a mole and that is why he is looking into credit reports. Julianne, however, says that she would rather work with him to find the mole than bring in Washington.
Nick’s fate continues to remain uncertain in Absentia Season 3 Episode 6
Meanwhile, Nick is under even more duress in the facility. The nurse tells Nick to give up if he wants the others to stop tormenting him with electrocution. Later in Absentia Season 3 Episode 6, the lady informs him that he is being shifted elsewhere and leaves.
Emily and Cal are back to business as they get off the train and focus on their mission. Emily also confesses that she has Kai’s files. They reach the facility and make their way in.
Inside, they notice the numerous medical equipment and apparatus. The moment of shock brings back some haunting memories for Emily. There are pictures lined up on the wall, which they pay close attention to. Emily immediately identifies a woman who was a victim of organ harvesting. It becomes clear that the prisoners here were experimented on.
As Absentia Season 3 Episode 6 comes to a close, Emily and Cal continue to investigate the place. Nick is taken to a truck with many others. While on the move, Nick, who has a hood on, switches places with another person. The facility is now empty, and Emily wonders if Nick is now caught up in an organ harvesting plot.
Absentia is available to stream on Netflix.
