Bill Burr, who is known for his strong criticism of Elon Musk and the Trump administration, has once again taken aim at the billionaire.
The comedian appeared on the NPR's Fresh Air podcast to promote his new special Drop Dead Years, releasing on Hulu on 14 March. The comedian slammed people who believe leaving the country is the only solution to the its problem.
"You’re going to leave? Why doesn’t he leave? Why isn’t he stopped?”
Burr asks this, talking about Elon Musk, asking that instead of other citizens leaving the country, he should leave.
The "Breaking Bad" actor had earlier slammed Musk on Twitter, accusing him of performing the N*zi salute during Trump's inauguration. Later, on his "Monday Morning Podcast," he revealed that his Twitter account has been flagged after he "made fun of the f**king Twitter guy for f**king sieg heiling."
"What a f***ing baby! Just like Hitler. A f***ing baby!" he ranted.
He further accused Musk of trying to mold the country into a dictatorship.
"Up with the fact that the Twitter guy, he's not even from here; he's from South Africa. He comes to this country and wants to turn it into a f**king dictatorship. He doesn't feel that we deserve democracy."
Bill Burr slams Elon Musk in new interview
In his latest interview, Bill Burr doubled down, accusing Elon Musk of making a N*zi salute, not once, but twice. He said:
"That idiot Elon Musk. That guy, who evidently is a N*zi. Like, I just refuse to believe that it was an accidental, two-times Sieg heil, and he does it at a presidential inauguration."
He further argued that the Trump administration is intentionally fueling division among ordinary citizens, and unfortunately, everyone is falling for the trap.
"I’m trying to get regular people to stop yelling at each other and realize that it’s a select few group of nerds eating raw almonds and doing their stupid workouts and competing with each other to have the biggest infinity pool and the rest of us are getting pushed down.”
He continued,
“They’ve politicized the whole stupid thing and we’re falling for it.” he further added.
The "Mandalorian" actor also criticized those unwilling to deal with the realities of the situation and instead choose to leave the country.
"This is why I hate liberals. Liberals have no teeth whatsoever. They just go, ‘Oh my God, can you believe this? I’m getting out of the country!’ I’m just like, you’re gonna leave the country because of one guy with dyed hair plugs and a laminated face? Who makes a bad car and has an obsolete social media platform? Why doesn’t he leave? Why are we so afraid of this guy who can’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag?”"
After the January inauguration debacle, Elon Musk appeared on "The Joe Rogan Experience podcast", where he denied being a N*zi, claiming that the gesture was done "in the most positive spirit possible."
