What happened between Booba and Kylian Mbappe? Complete feud explained as French rapper threatens to reveal footballers' explosive secrets

Tensions further rose between French rapper Booba and Kylian Mbappe, this time taking a direct shot at him. The rapper made a statement, attacking the Real Madrid F.C. player

"Leave Nasser alone, or I’ll tell everyone what you’re doing in Palm Beach, with whom, and why you caught a ‘stomach bug.’ Just play football, score goals and sell jerseys. You won't be a pain the in the *ss for much longer. And get your driving license."

The statement came to the defense of the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, after it was revealed that the French player filed a complaint against PSG for moral harassment. Though Kylian has moved forward with his dream club, he is still at odds with his former club, PSG. The player has, in general, been unhappy with his club, and things have gotten worse as the club owes him 55 million euros ($61 million) in unpaid wages.

Booba and Mbappe feud

However, this is not the first time he has taken shots at Kylian Mbappe. Their supposed beef can be traced back to last year. After a disappointing 'El Clasico' last year in November, Booba made a sarcastic comment,

"So many zeros, just like on his paychecks."

Since then, he has made multiple comments directly online and even in his songs, adding fuel to this seemingly one-sided feud. Booba, who did a brief stint as a break dancer in the early 1990s and later partnered with his friend Ali to form Lunatic, included a direct critique of Kylian Mbappe in his song last year.

In his 2024 album Ad vitam æternam, he made a personal attack on the player in his song Abidal. In his portion of the song, he sang, “They are overrated like Kylian.” Taking it further, when Le10 Sport covered the clash between the two, the singer responded by saying,

"It’s not a clash you’re overrated you’re useless you’re a tool of the system zero LDC zero stance (like most) go to Réal to learn life with Vinicius good luck.” (translation)

As for the feud, there has been no comment from Kylian Mbappe's side, so whether this situation develops further or not depends on Booba if he wants to escalate it.
