Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massenet has accused her ex-partner, Erik Torstensson, of being a "sex addict" who lived a double life of "rampant" drug use in a lawsuit.
As per the civil case, which was launched in California on August 21 and obtained by The Telegraph, Natalie was allegedly left "heartbroken" when she discovered that her ex-partner had betrayed her during their 14-year relationship. Massenet also claimed that she spent $95 million supporting him.
While Natalia is the founder of Net-a-Porter, and holds influential positions like Chair of the British Fashion Council and non-executive co-chair at FarFetch, her ex-partner Erik Torstensson is a Swedish-born photographer, designer, and co-founder of Saturday Group. The two began their high-profile relationship in the mid-2010s and have worked on several creative projects together.
Most recently, the two welcomed their first son, Jet Everest Torstensson in September 2017, born via surrogate.
What claims has Natalie Massenet made against Erik Torstensson
Natalie Massenet has filed a lawsuit against her ex-partner, Erik Torstensson. In the lawsuit, Natalie accuses Erik of living a double life of sex addiction, "rampant" drug use, prostitutes, and multiple affairs. Natalia also claims to have spent more than $95 million during the course of their relationship on,
"expensive properties, lifestyle expenses, vacations and more based on Torstensson's promises to repay her in kind."
She accused her ex-partner of using her for "social clout" while she was left "cash-strapped with his child." As per court documents obtained by Daily Mail, Natalie claims,
"As soon as he had finished spending Massenet's money, he left."
Natalie Massenet in 2024, first noticed Torstensson disappearing at night and drinking heavily. In May, 2025, Natalie allegedly found explicit messages and photographs which proved that Torstensson had "maintained multiple affairs with several younger women for years." When she confronted, Torstensson confessed to being a "liar, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a sex addict, and that it had gone on for seven years."
Her team also alleges that Torstensson hired prostitutes, used drugs such as cocaine in Los Angeles, London, and New York while traveling for work. The documents include screenshots of text exchanges between him and a drug dealer.
While the couple initially agreed that Natalie would cover the costs of their lives, she would be reimbursed by the eventful returns from his business ventures. However, when the money did come, Torstensson allegedly diverted it to "rent flashy planes and art to impress his peers, rather than make good on his promises."
As per Natalie Massenet's lawyers, the businesswoman has "suffered severe emotional distress" and is forced to undergo intensive therapy.
