Jake Paul's bout with the all-time great Mike Tyson not only gained him major recognition in the boxing fraternity but also catapulted him into the big shot club. The fight, which was streamed on Netflix on November 15, 2024, with over 108 million viewers, also turned out to be the most-streamed sporting event of all time. The Paul and Tyson match, which can also be considered as one of the biggest boxing matches, took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Paul defeated the legendary Tyson by unanimous decision.

One would say it was a significant accomplishment for Jake Paul to defeat Mike Tyson. However, he has moved on and has decided to fight other big names in the professional boxing world. According to Ring Magazine, the YouTube influencer/professional wrestler, Paul, is ready for a bout with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., son of the Mexican former world champion of boxing, Julio Cesar Chavez.

Chavez Jr. is a World Boxing Council middleweight champion and has held the world title for two consecutive years, from 2011 to 2012. The controversial wrestler, Paul, will be squaring off against Chavez Jr. in a cruiserweight clash. This will be a tough fight for Jake, as Chavez Jr. will be one of his most experienced and resilient foes.

Chavez Jr., irrespective of being a successful wrestler, could not manage to match his father's accomplishment. However, he did manage to hold a world title and also made his crossover into MMA boxing, going up against fighters like Uriah Hall and Anderson Silva, which makes him an immensely strong opponent.
