Unusual claims about Estefans were made in a lawsuit against Diddy, which was filed in April. In the most recent report by TMZ, Gloria as well as Emilio Estefan, on separate occasions, insinuated that they were considering legal action after their names were included in the suit.
Emilio Estefan said the tunnel story was not possible, and referred to it as "ridiculous". He explained that the homes were on an island, and digging such a structure would not work because of the surrounding water.
Gloria Estefan also addressed the story and called it a "fantasy". She added that their home always had strong security, which made the accuser’s version of events unfeasible. She stated that at no time had there ever been a "tunnel" between their house and Diddy’s estate.
Both Emilio and Gloria have also said they are considering legal action against the person who made the claims. They want to make clear that the story is not true and should not be repeated.
