"Are you a babysitter or a father?" Netizens react as LiAngelo Ball responds to Miss Nikki Baby's claim that he hasn't seen their kids in six weeks

LiAngelo Ball is pushing back on Miss Nikki Baby's claims that he is an absentee father.

Ball shares a son named LaVelo Anthony and a daughter named LaNiyah Nicole with Nikki, whose real name is Nikki Mudarris. In a verified Instagram post on The Shade Room, Ball states in his defense that there's no one in his shoes, but that everyone paints their "own picture" of him.

He claims to have "watched the kids more than" Nikki, adding that he doesn't have to

"call her to conversate with my babies who can only say dada."

In a follow-up post, he also refuted all claims that he cheated on her when she was pregnant, stating:

"nah tht ain how it went."

Users have since begun reacting to the situation with dissent, as scores online are pointing fault with his choice of words, seeing as he used "watched" when referring to taking care of his kids. Here's what one user wrote, in the comments section:

Scores online echoed the sentiments:

Several others chimed in to call the rapper out:

Scores online were visibly disappointed in the rapper for claiming that he "watches" his own kids and paid for everything.

LiAngelo Ball claps back at Miss Nikki Baby for accusing him of ignoring his children

Miss Nikki Baby took to social media on Monday night to slam the rapper, and uploaded on her Instagram story:

"My BD saw the amazing mom I was and made me a dad too. So thoughtful of him.” She added a follow-up post. “I forgot you was with your YN everyday. “We pushing 6 weeks your kids ain’t hear from you yet! Diabolical! Exit the chat.” Iin a third post, she referenced Ball's hit song, Tweaker: "Mf really tweakin real life, no cap.”

However, when The Shade Room uploaded the post on Instagram, LiAngelo Ball tried to clear the air:

“Quit tht soft sympathy sh*t. Nobody was in my shoes but everyone can paint they own picture of me lol," he wrote. "I paid for the most sh*t in my life when I was wit her, idk when yaw thought she was paid…I can wipe my own a**. She gotta ask mommy n daddy or give up mileage."

He went on:

"I watched the kids more than her n ima grown man wit my own shi. I don’t have to call her to conversate wit my babies who can only say dada. They’ll be at the mansion soon, I’ll see them the right way don’t trip haha. N the way she talk n act, I’ll leave again n again. I ain never been the dude to put up wit tht sh*t. She been preaching she wanna co-parent n she got older n****s who love her so I freed her, but God forbid I say anything haha.”

Nikki and Ball began dating in 2022. In July of the following year, they welcomed their son, and in December 2024, they welcomed a baby girl.
