Blueface’s mom, Karlissa Saffold, shared her two cents on Chrisean Rock’s reported new romance with Morgan State University’s basketball player, Tytan Newton. In a post circulating on social media, the duo was spotted at the back of a car engaging in PDA, which not only created a buzz among netizens but also seemingly confirmed the rumors about the couple’s affair.
The speculations date back to when the basketball player was photographed wearing Chrisean Rock’s customized diamond jewelry.

Scaffold added her opinion to the ongoing online frenzy, as she expressed her utmost joy for the couple. In a video shared on X, 52-year-old Karlissa Scaffold could be seen giving her remarks about Chrisean Rock’s relationship with the athlete.
“Won’t he do it?” she said.
“Chile, thank you, Jesus,” She added in excitement. “They make a cute couple. That’s it, get a baby by him, that’s going to be a cute a** baby too”.
In the clip, she reportedly validates the idea of Tytan Newton being the perfect match for Chrisean, stating that the former is “the one” for her son’s baby mama.
Blueface and Chrisean Rock's relationship explored
The Holy Moly crooner began his not-so-rosey relationship with Chrisean Rock during the COVID-19 pandemic. Blueface’s first encounter with Rock was at his reality show, Blue Girls Club, a show in which a host of ladies would have to compete for the rapper’s affection. Chrisean Rock emerged as the winner of the show, after which she and the rapper began dating.
One of the biggest controversies in their short-lived affair was when Blueface reportedly denied the claim of being responsible for Rock’s pregnancy in 2023. In response to the pregnancy news, the rapper tweeted,
“Rock has had encounters with ten different men in the last year until I see DNA test then it’s not mine.”
After Chrisean Rock had the baby in September 2023, Blueface reportedly threatened to file for child custody but reportedly held back after the result of a paternity test stealthily taken by the rapper came out negative.
“Tell me why I snook a swab of this baby DNA test results came in…iam not the father smh,” he continues “it’s a bittersweet feeling cus I was coming around to it but definitely in my best interest thank you, Jesus.” He tweeted.
To counter Blueface’s assertions, Chrisean reportedly released a tweet that explained that a DNA test had been taken during the run of their reality show that proved that the kid was rightfully his, stating that he is doing more damage, hence, omitting the rapper’s name from her baby’s birth certificate.
The two had their back and forth until Chrisean officially ended the 3-year-old relationship prior to the release of Yahweh in March, which is her recent gospel single.
