Over the years, Perrie Edwards has dated Zayn Malik, Leon King, and Luke Pasqualino. She is currently in a relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whom she started dating in 2017. They have a child together, called Axel.
The singer recently talked about how she was by her ex, Zayn Malik, reached out to her while she was in her early years of her relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and how that left her terrified.

Perrie Edwards discussed it as a contrast between how her relationships with her previous partners and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain differ during an exclusive interview with the We Need To Talk podcast, which was released on August 19, 2025. Edwards said:
"And I remember there was one point my ex reached out and I didn't know how to handle the situation cuz I'd been with Alex for like a year and a half, two years, and I felt a bit uncomfortable about it. And I remember sweating and like panicking thinking, I've got to tell him that obviously I've spoke to him. And I remember being terrified thinking, oh no."
She continued:
"And then I sat down and I was like, I need to tell you something. He was like, okay, everything all right? I was like, yes, such and such reached out today. And it was really weird. And he was like, same what? So I told him everything. And then he was like, okay, well, I really appreciate you telling me was like, same what?"
Perrie Edwards added:
"So I told him everything. And then he was like, okay, well, I really appreciate you telling me thinking, like, thank you for letting me know. That's fine. and like hopefully he doesn't contact you again. And I was thinking okay, cool. And that's that. That was it And it like he he's always kind of been like that."
Perrie Edwards set to release new music
Perrie Edwards, in the same interview quoted above, mentioned that she will release new music soon. Speaking about the album, the singer stated:
"Yeah. I've finished my album..Um, but I thought my album was finished like last year. I thought it was all done and dusted, ready to go. And then I kind of just sat there and I was like, it's not done. It doesn't feel authentically me. It doesn't feel like my sound and what I want to do."
Edwards then went on to elaborate how, with the help of her therapy, she figured out the album, including realising that she was good at writing her own songs. The singer added that most of the songs on the album are her writing and that now she feels comfortable with the album and how it would be received.
Perrie Edwards has so far released several singles in her solo career. She also has numerous songwriting credits, including for the track Mars by TWICE. Edwards, however, is best known for being one of the members of the girl band Little Mix, alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and former member Jesy Nelson.
Little Mix has so far released six albums and is a highly acclaimed group, being the first group in 41 years to win the British Group award at the Brit Awards back in 2021.
Alongside her music career, the singer has her own fashion brand, Disora. She has also made endorsements for brands such as Nando's, Superga and is a supporter of the charity CoppaFeel!.
