The band will perform on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at The Caverns in Grundy County, Tennessee. The venue is built inside a natural cave system. The lineup for this show includes supporting acts Obituary, Herakleion, and Saint Avangeline.

This performance marks another milestone in Acid Bath’s long-awaited return to the stage. Their 2025 comeback was the band’s first live show in 28 years, reigniting excitement among longtime fans and metal enthusiasts alike. Acid Bath originally hailed from southern Louisiana. The band was formed in the early 1990s. It was quick to become a known name in the underground sludge and doom metal scenes. Their two cult classic albums are When the Kite String Pops (1994) and Paegan Terrorism Tactics (1996). However, the band disbanded shortly after the death of bassist Audie Pitre in 1997.

On April 25, 2025, exactly 28 years after their final show, Acid Bath reunited at The Fillmore in New Orleans with original members Dax Riggs, Sammy Duet, and Mike Sanchez. They were joined by Zack Simmons (Goatwhore) on drums and Alex Bergeron (Agents of Oblivion) on bass.
