Don't Be Dumb, A$AP Rocky’s album that has been highly anticipated for years, is due for imminent release. It had initially been scheduled for August 30, 2024, but had to be rescheduled several times because of sample clearance challenges, schedule leaks, among other reasons. This high-profile rapper had indeed created the most hype; as of March 2025, no newer changes regarding the release date have been given.

The Impact and The Delay

A$AP Rocky's fans have been somewhat ruffled due to the deadline changes of the album and his unwillingness to release new information narcissistically through his social media pages. A$AP Rocky did initially suggest that it would be released at the beginning of 2023, but he later backpedaled, blaming further delays on feature cancellations, and him reworking the sound. Sample clearance issues, and leaks have resulted in his best estimate for now, which is past autumn of 2024, getting pushed heavily.

A$AP Rocky has apparently disappointed his listeners through his silence, but has dropped singles throughout the wait, but unknowingly has teased unreleased material. When asked recently about the album drop, his short answer, heavily hints that there are external pressures, possibly from a record label, some associates, or fans, that contradict him.

"Man don't do me like that. A$AP listen don't make me do that right now. You gon get me beat up out here bro!"
