"What do you need? I got you": Becky G shares advice with Coachella first-timer Tyla and talks new music

At the Revolve Fest, Erin Lim Rhodes was interviewing singer Becky G for E! News: The Rundown. Becky, or Rebbeca Marie Gomez, shared with Rhodes that she gave Tyla a few tips before the Water singer hit the Coachella 2025 stage on April 11, 2025, to help maintain her vocals while performing in the Indio desert in California.

During the exclusive interview, Becky G revealed the tips and tricks she shared. Becky told Tyla, who is known as Queen of Popiano:

"I was like, ‘What do you need? I got you,’... The desert is brutal. It's dry, there's dust… start your day off with a Claritin D, even if you don't have allergies. I swear, that is a game changer."

Becky also has a little pre-show ritual that she does before going on stage. She elaborated:

"Of course, it doesn’t go without a shot of tequila... One little shot before I go on stage and then I’m good to go," the Lovin' So Hard singer added.

Becky G teases new music during her interview with The Rundown

Before Becky shared new developments on the music front, she mentioned how special Coachella 2025 is for her because she was going to perform with Gustavo Dudamel. In her words:

"The performance tonight is gonna be really, really special... I get to perform with Gustavo Dudamel, who is an incredible human being and just an incredible talent... I think it's gonna be really special."

As for her new music, Becky G recently released her fourth Spanish language studio album, Encuentros, in 2024. Six months later, she revealed that she is already working on new music.

This is what the Next To You singer had to say:

"I told my team after the last album that I wanted to take a break, and the break was literally just my Christmas break... We got back into the studio and we've been making a lot of new music based off of this newfound sense of self that I discovered making my regional Mexican albums. Going back to my roots really allowed me to dive deeper in my artistry."

As of now, not much has been revealed yet, but Becky tells her fans that something exciting is coming very soon. In her own words:

"When I say very, very soon, it's like, very soon."

This is great news for Becky G fans. After releasing her latest album just six months ago, something new is already in the works. With this new tease, the Bluetooth singer has her fans on their toes. Whether the latest album will be in Spanish or not is yet to be confirmed, but going by what Becky said in the interview about making "regional Mexican albums," there is a high possibility that the next album will follow the same track.
