Usher has pulled the plug on his return to Australia. The singer-songwriter has abruptly canceled all dates of his Past Present Future 2025 tour across Melbourne and Sydney.
The official cancellation comes just weeks after tickets first went on sale. Per reports, this move has left many fans disappointed, and they are now wondering about the reason behind the sudden change. The Grammy-winning R&B icon was officially slated to perform 12 shows in November and December 2025. It was going to be his first headlining tour in Australia in nearly 14 years.

The announcement of the tour in May 2025 was received well by Usher fans. The pre-sale demand led to four additional shows being added. Now, the entire schedule has been scrapped as of July 4.
A notice was posted by Ticketek on behalf of promoter Live Nation. It stated that the shows "will no longer be proceeding." Notably, the organizers did not provide any reason or statement from Usher himself.
The complete official statement on Ticketek reads as follows:
"USHER'S Past Present Future Tour Cancelled. The promoter of USHER's Australian Tour regrets to advise that the scheduled shows to take place in November/ December, will no longer be proceeding."
Detailing the process of refund, the authorities added:
"REFUND PROCESS: All tickets purchased (including refundable ticket purchases, if relevant) will be automatically refunded in full to the original payment method used. Customers do not need to take any action. Customers who purchased tickets at a Ticketek Agency or using Ticketek Gift Vouchers, have been contacted at the email address of their Ticketek account to request additional information so we can process your refund. Customers should allow approximately 30 business days for the refund to appear in their account."
For ticket holders, full refunds are being processed automatically through the original payment method, regardless of whether they purchased additional refund protection. However, some fans have voiced their disappointment online, particularly over the lack of transparency. It is worth noting that the refund timeline may take up to 30 business days.
