BTS' Jungkook made waves recently with his smashing hit SEVEN. In the recent development, the track crossed 50 million streams in South Korea across key platforms of the country, notably MelOn, Spotify, YouTube, and YouTube Music. The track that launched in 2023 is still making new records. SEVEN emerged as the first track to achieve this mark in the country.

Jungkook’s fans were thrilled with his new accomplishment particularly just few day after he was discharged from military on June 11, 2025. One of his fans commented:

Several additional fans praised BTS' Jungkook for reaching the current milestone with his solo music. Many followers congratulated the idol, while others referred to him as the history maker and global pop star.

“I guess he is the only Kpop idol who is overwhelmingly loved in S Korea as well as globally. Most of them (groups as well as soloists) are either popular nationally or internationally...,” a fan wrote.

“That’s what organic hits like, dominating in all platforms not only on Spotify,” expressed another fan.

Some fans dubbed BTS' Jungkook as organic king, while others referred to SEVEN as organic hit. Other fans hailed the idol as history maker and global pop superstar.

BTS maknae dropped SEVEN in July 2023

Originally, BTS' Jungkook dropped his song SEVEN on July 14, 2023. The track made in collab with Latto, came out as GOLDEN’s pre-album launch. On November 3, 2023, Jeon Jungkook released GOLDEN, his debut solo album. The LP comprised eleven tracks, including two distinct versions of SEVEN: Clean and Explicit. Golden maknae recently appeared during Jin's RUNSEOKJIN EP. TOUR concert held at Goyang Auxiliary Stadium. He arrived at the event alongside two of his fellow bandmates, Jimin and SUGA. Jungkook's participation made ripples, especially his outfit switch during the event.

Kim Seokjin's first standalone tour, RUNSEOKJIN EP. TOUR, kicked off on June 28, with Taehyung, RM, and Hobi in attendance on Day 1. The appearance of BTS members Jungkook, Jimin, and Agust D on the second day is said to have increased fan excitement.
