Tyla’s Coachella debut on April 12 featured Becky G, who had nothing but sweet words for the "Water" songstress.
Following their collaborative performance, Becky G sat down for an interview where she spoke about the South African sensation.
“The first thing that I want to say is Tyla is a beast. We’re little, but we pack a punch, you know, and preparing for this Coachella performance.”
Clad in a V-shaped pearl-beaded top and loose khaki cargo pants, the "Te Quiero Besar" singer went on to reveal that this year marked her fourth Coachella, adding:
“And when she invited me, for me personally, it was my fourth year performing at Coachella in a row. So I was like what better way to do it than with another bada** young female in the music industry who is absolutely just murdering it?”
She continued, reflecting on the chemistry she shared with Tyla.
“And when we met at the studio, it was just like instant chemistry. And we just go really hard for one another.”
For Becky G, being part of Tyla’s Coachella debut was a highlight.
“And I think she’s just incredible. So we had so much fun, and it was her first Coachella. So it was awesome to be there for it and to be part of it.”
