Modest Mouse, the American rock band recently took to their Instagram handle to announce their annual cruise festival called Ice Cream Floats.
This unique four-day event will take place on the Norwegian Pearl ship and is scheduled for February 5 to 9, 2026. The cruise ship will sail from Miami, Florida, to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

The event on the seas promises to include fantastic performances, besides interactive activities, and land tours while giving the guests access to amenities including pools, spa, fitness center, and specialty dining options.
Details of Modest Mouse's 2026 Ice Cream Floats
Modest Mouse, formed in 1993 and known for its singles like Ocean Breathes Salty, recently announced their cruise festival, Ice Cream Floats.
Besides Modest Mouse, the festival has a lineup that includes Ugly Casanova, Tropical Fuck Storm, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Built to Spill, FIDLAR, Mannequin Pussy, The Black Heart Procession, Portugal. The Man, and a set by the comedian David Cross.
Other than the musical sets there will also be onboarding activities for the guests, which includes Mouse Stardust Theater 3000, where Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock sits with the guests in a theatre and gives live commentary — an AMMA, or Ask Modest Mouse Anything. It is a live Q&A session that also involves Brock reading from a children's book.
Other attractions include live DJ sets by Modest Mouse and Friends, where every night a different member from the band will host the DJ booth to entertain the guests, and Parade of Freaks, an eclectic procession led by the band.
The guests will also receive limited-edition band-autographed posters, and photo-op with Modest Mouse on the ship, which the guests will have to book during the pre-sale. The attraction is limited to only the first 400 cabins booked.
The cruise festival also offers a shore excursion stop at San Felipe de Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Here the guests can explore Fortaleza de San Felipe, visit the Amber Museum, stroll along the Malecon while enjoying the local food and live music, and take a cable car up Mount Isabel de Torres to get panoramic views of the city.
Additionally, guests can also visit the ecolodge in the Dominican Republic, where there will be demonstration of the various steps of coffee-making. Guests can also take part in reforestation with the locals and enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch.
The pre-sale of tickets for the members of Modest Mouse's Ice Cream Party fan community will begin on April 14, 2025, and the tickets for general sale will be available from April 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET.
