On the opening night of Coachella 2025, hip-hop icon Missy Elliott arguably landed in the California desert like a scene from a futuristic film!
A silver car rolled onto the main stage, then it transformed into Missy herself, TMZ reports. It all happened in front of tens of thousands of audience members. She was wearing a glimmering race suit and a bike helmet as she rapped the opening lines of Throw It Back.

It was her debut at the beloved festival, and it seems that the 53-year-old singer tried to pull out all the stops she could, such as the transforming costumes, alien-inspired visuals, lasers, pyrotechnics, and a parade of her beloved tracks. However, her performance drew a somewhat mixed reaction from fans.
