Some ‘detective’ fans of Taylor Swift have cooked up some shocking Super Bowl theories. The Blank Space singer appeared on the New Heights podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother on August 14, 2025. During the episode, Taylor Swift discussed various topics, including her recently concluded Eras tour, her journey to reclaim her master recordings, her upcoming album, and her newfound obsession with bread.

Fans of the singer have started to speculate whether her recent obsession with bread could indicate a Super Bowl performance. After piecing together clues, these Swifties have concluded that her new hobby might hold more significance than it appears.

Speaking to the Kelce brothers, Taylor Swift shared that most of her time has been taken over by sourdough, and she was thinking about bread “60% of the time now.”

“I'm just, like, always baking bread, texting my friends, and being like, ‘Can I send you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than you liked the other one? Like, I did the rise a little differently.”

Taylor Swift’s fans have linked her sourdough obsession to the mascot of Super Bowl LX, a Sourdough Sam. Furthermore, her fans suggested that her 60% comment might be referring to the upcoming Super Bowl, which is the 60th of its kind. The fans also linked a venue of Taylor’s Eras tour to the venue of Super Bowl LX, which is set to take place at the San Francisco 49ers' Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

While fans are hopeful that the Reputation singer will perform at the next Super Bowl halftime, the singer has not hinted at the possibility of it happening.

“I felt more like I was in an '80s John Hughes movie, and he was standing outside of my window with a boombox saying, 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet! Do you want to date me? I was like, 'If this guy's not crazy, this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”

The singer also revealed more details about her upcoming twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

“I was so mentally stimulated and excited to be creating. The album is a lot more upbeat and a lot more fun, pop excitement. My main goals were melodies that were so infectious, you’re almost angry at it.”

She also shared that she enjoyed working with the producers Martin and Shellback.

“We’ve made songs that I’m so proud of. We’ve never actually made an album before where it was just the three of us; there’s no other collaborators. It felt like catching lightning in a bottle. These guys, they’re just geniuses. Working with them again was absolutely incredible.”

The Life of a Showgirl is scheduled to be released on October 3, 2025, and will feature twelve tracks.
