  • Turns Out That I Am God
  • Alchemy
  • Everblue
  • Wherever You Are
  • Slow Down

  • Just For You
  • Hallelujah
  • Nevermine

Cam talked about her new album in an exclusive interview with People on July 18, 2025, revealing how the album was inspired by a conversation about death with her daughter:

"I didn't grow up religious and I wasn't really given a framework in that way. I enjoyed that, I think, for most of my life, having the freedom to explore ideas and learn from a lot of different practices. And then, when I had Lucy, it felt so serious — just as a mom, I'm responsible for guiding her and I don't know that I know all the answers."

The singer went on to describe how, after one of her family chickens died, she scrambled to answer her daughter's questions:

"She was like, 'What is death, and what does that mean?' And I scrambled, like, 'Well, your body gets really still, and our light goes back up to the stars.'"

The singer went on to elaborate on the reflection that this conversation engendered in her:

"Oh, I don't know if I can leave things unexamined. I think I've reached a point in my life because of her and because of me that I need more. And so this [album] is me pulling together all of my experiences and stories -"

The singer added:

"-and questions and even unanswered questions and weaving them together into this little patchwork of beliefs. And so I made something that's my little security blanket and something that she can turn to."

Alongside releasing her new album, Cam recently also collaborated with Beyoncé on her Cowboy Carter album. The singer co-wrote songs such as Protector and Daughter and was also part of the production of the album.
