Burger King has rolled out a tempting offer for all its customers! You can get a chance to taste its mouth-watering whoppers in exchange for just $1. Yes, you heard that right!
The giveaway will begin on November 12 and is a part of the fast-food chain’s "Million Dollar Whopper Contest," which allowed its Royal Perks loyalty program members to recreate their signature burgers with a topping of their choice.
The $1 Whooper deal is the fast food chain’s way of saying “thanks a million” to its million customers who participated in the contest and submitted their dream burger. Customers can avail of the sandwich deal by clicking on the offers button given on the Burger King’s app. The discount is only available at the participating locations across the US.
As per a report, more than one million people participated in the contest which was held in early 2024, out of which three finalists have emerged. The winner will get a chance to earn a whopping $1 million prize.
The Three Finalists of the "Million Dollar Whopper Contest"
The "Million Dollar Whopper Contest" began in February 2024 and invited fans to submit their ideas for the ultimate Whopper. The contest closed in March and three finalists were selected by Burger King.
1. Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper
This Whopper was created by Fabian, who resides in California. The Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper is made of grilled beef patty, creamy pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, smoky bacon, and Swiss cheese. It’s a party in every bite!
2. Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper
This Whopper sandwich is created by Calvin, who hails from California. In the Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper sweet meets savoury. It includes a grilled beef patty, topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions and jalapeños, it is completed by adding a hint of smoky maple candied bacon, and American cheese.
3. Mexican Street Corn Whopper
This Whopper is created by Kelsie from Nebraska. The Mexican Street Corn Whopper makes everything creamy and extra crunchy as it features a grilled beef patty, along with creamy street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, crunchy tortilla crisps, and spicy queso.
All of these Whooper toppings are sandwiched between toasted sesame seed buns that will take you on a mouth-watering journey.
What makes these burgers stand out from others is their unique combination of flavours and ingredients that reflects the creative minds behind the idea.
Pat O'Toole, marketing executive at Burger King North American, said in a press release, "We couldn’t think of any better way to recognize and celebrate our biggest Whopper lovers than with a special offer that lets everyone feel like a winner. We can’t wait to hear how Guests think these three new creations stack up to the classic and look forward to them ultimately crowning the winner of the $1 million grand prize."

The burgers will be available for tasting starting November 14 in participating locations in the US. Customers can scan the QR code on the back of the wrappers on each of the three "Million Dollar Whopper Contest" sandwiches to cast their vote. Voting time will last from 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 14 until 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 5.
