Lady Gaga's headlining act at Coachella 2025 has been a huge success. It was a four-act story called The Art of Personal Chaos. Her setlist featured her previous hits and also some of the tracks from her newly-released album, Mayhem. Her fans were amazed by her performance, with users bombarding social media with relatable and hyped-up memes.

The performance included hits such as Bloody Mary, Abracadabra, Judas, Garden of Eden, Poker Face, Born This Way, Shallow, and Bad Romance.

She also performed some Mayhem songs live for the very first time, such as Zombieboy, The Beast, How Bad Do U Want Me, Shadow Of A Man, and Garden Of Eden.

In the meantime, the now-famous performance has sparked a heated debate on social media. Gaga's performance is being compared to Beyoncé's 2018 Coachella performance, which was referred to as Beychella.

When Beyoncé headlined Coachella in 2018, she set THE bar.

The performance was celebrated for its political undertones, powerful messages and sweeping visual representation. She was the first Black artist to headline the festival.

The show went on to become the most-watched live stream of all time, with 41 million viewers. The New York Times referred to it as a

"gobsmacking marvel of choreography and musical direction."

Fast forward to 2025, social media erupted into a meme battle between Gagachella and Beychella. Although both artists aced it, fan memes did not disappoint.

Netflix hopped on the bandwagon, saying:

"Mentally at Beychella."

And just like that, it ignited a fan frenzy.

A user @monicaitgirl commented:

"Lady Gaga ended this mess."

Looks like Lady Gaga fans were not having it, as one user @KH34NR3Y took a jab at Netflix, stating:

"This is why you're getting pirated lmao."

On the other hand, Beyoncé fans did not hold back. A user @kpmybeloved stated:

"Pls the gaga shade this is why I have a Netflix subscription 😹"

A user @Bseverson345 went on to say:

"Fine I’ll watch Beychella again since Coachella is a flop again this year."

Aside from the Netflix post, timelines were filled with comparison posts by users. Beyoncé fans are convinced that she delivered the most iconic performance ever, and as soon as the festival is mentioned, artists are bound to be compared to her because not only did she raise the standard, she is the standard.

A user roasted this year's lineup with a single post.

"Wait so... Beyonce performed at Coachella years ago, but it's trending again because of other people who aren't even her fans? IJBOL YOU BITCHES WORK FOR US. Thank You Peasants! #BeyChella"

A user stated:

"I see BEYCHELLA is the main competitor for every single Coachella performance in history. See when you’re the STANDARD. Oh Beyoncé your impact is insane. Btw Beychella is nearly a decade old & still yet to be topped’ ✨"

Indeed, fans will always be a part of Beychella Wakanda.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga fans believed that nothing else such has what she did, has been done ever before. While Beychella stans will never agree, Little Monsters feel Gagachella is what's making history.

A user @hausofkrissy stated:

"THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER LADY GAGA. THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANT AND MORE #GAGACHELLA."

Another user mentioned:

"I have no words. All I can say is this Lady Gaga set might be the greatest coachella set of all time. #GAGACHELLA."

A user thinks:

"Lady Gaga... you might have just taken that #1 spot for best coachella performance of all time #GAGACHELLA."

A user @dontcaIImyname posted:

"I’m sorry #GAGACHELLA is making The Chromatica Ball look like theatre summer camp 😭 Lady Gaga didn’t reheat her nachos she changed the recipe to gluten free organic free-range grass fed vegan at a Michelin 5 star restaurant."
