What happened to the Humiston family in Fall City?
According to the charging documents released by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, the 11-year-old girl who survived the Fall City mass shooting has claimed that her older brother opened fire on her family members.
She revealed that she had to pretend to be dead after being shot in the hand and neck to survive. She also told the officers that her brother used her father's silver handgun to shoot her parents, two brothers, and sister to death. She alleged that maybe he did so as he got into a lot of trouble after failing some tests at school.
The girl also alleged that she escaped through the window of her bedroom and ran to a neighbor's house. She did so after hearing her brother making a call. The prosecutors said that the 15-year-old himself called the police and claimed that his younger brother killed the family and later committed suicide after being caught watching p**nography.
At the same time, the police received a call from a neighbor who revealed that the 11-year-old survivor was shot. The 15-year-old boy has been charged with five counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder by the prosecutors.
