Donald Butler, 23, was the son of Reverend Donald E Butler from New Jersey. In a recent fatal accident, Butler lost his life and left his family and friends in mourning. A Wheatley Heights resident, Butler was involved in an accident while returning home. As he died on the spot, his community has penned heartwarming tributes.
Per Daily Voice, a deadly accident occurred in the Westampton Township on Tuesday, October 15. The spokesperson of the New Jersey State Police revealed that the officials responded to a crash that took place on the interchange of Burlington-Mount Holly Road. The crash involved Donald Butler driving a Mercedes-Benz E400, which struck the back of a tractor-trailer.
The incident happened at around 9:56 p.m., and Butler was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation of how the car crashed is currently underway. No other injuries were reported per the police.

Butler's father shared photos on Facebook to remember his time with him. The pictures reveal how Donald Butler shares a close bond with his family. The Butler family appeared on the reality TV show Family Feud. In the caption, the reverend wrote,
"It is with a sad and broken heart that my family and I announce the untimely death of our dear son and brother Donald Junoo Butler Jr. Donald was on his way home from the Virginia State University Homecoming and was in a fatal accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. He was pronounced (dead) at 11:35 pm on October 15, 2024. Please know that we love you all and appreciate your calls, and your texts, but it’s really difficult for my wife, his two sisters, and me. We’re going to miss you son, but you’re in Gods hands now."
Another Facebook user wrote,
"Fb family and friends please take a moment and pray for our Rev Donald E Butler and First Lady Sylvia Butler and their family at this heart felt time. Their son our brother Donald Butler Jr was in a fatal accident on his way home for homecoming in Virginia. This hurts so bad.
