The big General Hospital Nurses' Ball is making a comeback starting Tuesday, May 20, 2025, when your favorite Port Charles pals put on their formal finest, walk the red carpet, and put on a show. In addition to performance from PC residents, guests will also enjoy some music from YDE, aka Breanna Nicole Yde.

Josslyn, Carly, and their friends will enjoy a soulful performance by YDE during the third day of the ball on May 22, according to Deadline. A former child star, YDE is known for her work on such Nickelodeon classics as School of Rock, Santa Hunters, and The Haunted Hathaways.
Five years ago, YDE ventured away from acting and into music when she released her debut single Stopped Buying Diamonds. In 2022, she released her first extended play album, titled Send Help.
She will be a part of a long list of Nurses' Ball musical numbers. We expect incredible violin performances from Gio (Giovanni Mazza), Anna (Finola Hughes) and Chase (Josh Swickard) dancing the Tango, and Port Charles kids performing a dance featuring Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle). The one and only Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be mistress of ceremonies, of course.
General Hospital Nurses' Ball drama
Expect Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to be hosting the red carpet festivities once again as she has in years past. However, this year, things might get complicated when Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) becomes her co-host. Knowing how Nina and Drew feel about one another, we can expect a few awkward and tension-filled moments between the two. Could Drew be planning something for Nina with that ketamine he has tucked away?
There are other General Hospital secrets that could explode at the ball this year, including the fact that Kristina (Kate Mansi) cut the brakes on Ric's (Rick Hearst) car, thinking the car belonged to Ava (Maura West). Gio's true identity could also be revealed.
Whether Lucy ends up in her underwear this year still remains to be seen. Two years ago, when the ball ended with Lucy still fully clothed, fans were highly disappointed. Of course, Lucy is also the woman of multiple costume changes, so we can expect to see her in some fabulous gowns. However, Lucy refused to offer too much detail on her wardrobe in a video for the fictional WXPC last month.
"I'll have to kill you if I tell you," she said. "These gowns are top secret."
