Get a peek behind the scenes at General Hospital

Things have gotten absolutely wild on General Hospital lately. Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) training to be a spy, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) dealing with heart issues while trying to find out who firebombed his penthouse, and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Natalia (Eva LaRue) turned out to be Marco’s (Adrian Anchondo) parents. Those are just the tip of the iceberg for what’s going on in Port Charles, keeping the fans engaged and excited. The show recently shared some behind-the-scenes photos to help fans get their GH fix when they’re waiting for the next episode.

Familial Connections

The GH official Instagram page posted, “Secrets don't stay that way for long in Port Charles. Take a look behind the scenes of today's revelatory, new #GH. Enjoy! 📸 #GeneralHospital.” Along with that were several photos, the first two of which were Natalia and Sidwell, while the third was them with their newly revealed son, Marco.

Next up was Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn looking very serious. This was followed by McCoy getting all dolled up by the makeup department, and then was one of her holding up a Bad Jen coffee cup. That’s the place where Joss’ handler, Vaughn, gets his daily caffeine dose and is also where Joss passed her final test in spy school. She witnessed him clandestinely receiving a small package from someone, and she ratted him out to their boss, Jack (Chris McKenna). Fortunately, that was what the WSB higher-ups wanted her to do, and now she’s on her way home and to her first assignment.

Is Morgan a villain?

@angelofthelordmom excitedly reacted, “Jens(and the actor who plays him 😊) has charisma!! He makes me smile whenever I see him, as if he always has a trick up his sleeve!!😊❤️.” Jens, of course, is Sidwell’s first name. Another fan, @linney_joyce, wasn’t surprised by the Marco/Parental reveal, commenting, “Love Eva’s dress!!! I knew Marco was going to be their son!!! No one in GH meets random people, he had to have relatives in Port Charles.”

Fan going by the handle @artesebay reacted, “Getting to really like the Sidwell character,” while another, @hartmanmarypat, responded, “Great casting of Sidwell and son!” And @jaynyc81 had an interesting story theory with the comment, “I think the person who is targeting Sonny is Morgan, only he doesn't know his true identity. Maybe he was conditioned the way Drew was made to believe he was Jason.”

Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) son, Morgan (Bryan Craig), was seemingly killed in 2016 when a car bomb exploded, sending him flying off of a cliff. Since there was no body, it’s very possible that Morgan has been taken in by nefarious people and conditioned to go after Sonny. This kind of post does exactly what the show wants: It gets people talking about it.
