As Jason watched Drew's acceptance speech at the Brown Dog, Michael walked in and offered to pay the bartender to shut it off. Jason was confused and told Michael that he thought that Michael and Drew were close.
"We were until he started kissing my wife," Michael said. Jason was shocked at that news and asked if Michael and Willow were having problems. Michael explained how he learned Drew and Willow had kissed, headed straight for the Brown Dog, and ran into Sasha. "I slept with Sasha, so now I made everything worse, and now I think my marriage is over," Michael confessed.
Michael explained that he and Willow were always lying to one another and didn't trust each other. He still wanted his marriage to work, but he didn't think it could happen. "We both slept with other people," Michael said. Jason asked Michael back up since he thought Drew and Willow had just kissed. "That's what they admitted to, but I found out that Willow and Drew are sleeping together...What if Willow is in love with Drew?" Michael asked.
Michael never believed Willow could be unfaithful, but he noted he was a hypocrite because he'd slept with Sasha. Jason suggested that Michael hear Willow out. "I'm afraid she'd say there's no future for us," Michael lamented.

After Michael left, Spinelli arrived to update Jason on his search for Valentin. Jason believed they needed to focus on Brennan. Spinelli sadly noted that Sam would be perfect for this job. Jason then asked Spinelli for advice, father-to-father.
Jason explained that Danny wanted to live with him and stay with Scout and Rocco. Neither Danny nor Spinelli knew how that would work. Jason wanted to be there for Danny but wasn't sure if Danny should live with the other kids. Spinelli acknowledged this would hurt Jason, but Jason didn't care. "I'm not worried about me. I just need to protect the people I love," Jason said.
Nina watched Drew's acceptance speech from backstage before congratulating the convicted felon New York billionaire who had just won federal office. As Drew and Nina embraced, Carly appeared and offered her own congratulations, not realizing Brennan was right behind her.
Ironically, Carly was happy that America would have an honest man in Washington. Carly then introduced Brennan to Drew. Later, Brennan mused that Drew might have been using Carly as a political stepping stone when they were involved last year.
Carly was immediately offended and reminded Brennan that Drew had gone to prison to save her. "Drew never thought he'd go to prison. He thought he'd get a slap on the wrist. So, maybe it wasn't this big heroic sacrifice you thought it was," Brennan said truthfully. Carly wondered if that meant Drew was using her. Brennan asked Carly the same question.
While Carly and Drew caught up, Nina found Willow in the lady's room. Nina pointed out that Drew would make an excellent congressman "far away in DC." Later, Maxie found Nina and asked if Nina had mentioned to Willow that she was sleeping with Drew. Nina didn't think it was necessary since Willow had assured Nina that nothing was going on between her and Drew. Nina also thought that despite Drew's flaws, he would make an excellent congressman.
Maxie begged to differ. "Flaws? Drew made out with his nephew's wife and then slept with her mother," Maxie said incredulously. When Nina made excuses for Drew by explaining that many politicians had indiscretions, Maxie immediately knew Nina was still sleeping with Drew.
Maxie told Nina she didn't want to see her get hurt. "Drew can't hurt me. I don't care enough," Nina said. Maxie elaborated that she wasn't talking about Drew hurting Nina. She worried that Willow would.
Willow and Drew eventually locked eyes. Drew credited Willow with his win. "You're the one that pushed me to run. You had faith in me to be better, to do better," Willow said.
Curtis and Portia enjoyed the appetizers and reveled in the news that Curtis would now be in charge at Aurora. Too bad Drew wasn't thinking the same. When Michael showed up at the party, Drew asked him to be Aurora's new CEO. Before Michael answered, Willow interrupted them. Michael took Willow aside and asked to meet her at home.
Once back at the gatehouse, Michael told Willow that he wanted to talk. Meanwhile, Nina and Drew arrived back at the main house. When they opened the door, they found an angry Jason standing there.
Lois cornered Ned in the Quartermaine living room and asked why he and everyone else in the house had been avoiding her. "Something is going on in this house, and you're not moving until you tell me what it is," Lois declared.
Ned admitted that something had happened but refused to say what. So, Lois turned to Brook Lynn and demanded she spill while Ned mouthed "no" to his daughter. Brook Lynn said she knew the secret, but she wasn't going to tell Lois because Lois couldn't keep a secret. Ned noted the time earlier this year when Lois told Sonny that Nina had turned Drew and Carly in to the SEC.
In the Q kitchen, Gio brought Sasha a package that had just arrived. Chase tried to stop her from opening it, but she did it anyway. Chase was mortified when the package revealed a guide for first-time fathers. Sasha was thrilled to learn that Brook Lynn and Chase were trying to get pregnant.
As Sasha and Chase caught up, Chase confessed that he couldn't stop thinking about being a dad while Sasha lamented that Holly left town and she'd lost Cody. Chase noted how Robert had taken a leave of absence. Sasha already knew because he had "skipped town with my mother."
Sasha was glad Robert would be gone for a while because it gave her time to get used to the idea of him being her father. "It's nice to know that I'm not alone in the world. I just never expected to have a dad. I don't even know what that's supposed to look like."
Brook Lynn soon arrived and saw Chase's fatherhood book on the counter. He admitted that Sasha now knew they were trying to have a baby. Sasha promised to keep the news a secret.
Sonny and spent some time alone in Maxie's office and discussed Kristina's accident. Natalia admitted that she had an accident a few years ago when distracted. Kristina's accident made Natalia reflect and come to the conclusion that she should have done better by her children.
Seeing Kristina and Sonny together made Natalia realize that she was an overbearing parent. "If I had gotten a call that Allie was in an accident, I would have swept in. I would have taken charge and focused on all her minor injuries...I wouldn't have seen the emotional pain my daughter was in."
Alexis tried to focus on work but couldn't take her eyes off a photo of herself and her daughters on her desk. Kristina soon appeared and asked if Alexis was okay before informing her she had gotten into a minor accident the night before. She didn't want to bother Alexis with that news while Alexis was mourning Sam.
Kristina explained that Sonny had taken her back to his place, which offended Alexis because Kristina told her father about the accident and not her mother. Kristina was only telling Alexis the truth now because Sonny had wanted her to. Alexis could tell Kristina needed to talk, but Kristina hedged.
After Alexis persisted, Kristina admitted that she had been thinking about Danny and Scout. She also had one big question: "Why did I live and Sam die?" Kristina asked. Kristina felt that no one depended on her the way they depended on Sam. Alexis assured Kristina that she depended on her. "Sam died, and you didn't, which means that you're here, so don't waste it," Alexis said. She then insisted that Kristina's life mattered.
Kristina admitted she finally found a reason to live — so she could testify against Ava. "I am alive so that I can get justice for my daughter. With your help, I could do that," Kristina said.
