Willow confronted a surprised Sasha in the Quartermaine kitchen, saying, "Sasha, I thought you were my friend." Sasha immediately assumed Willow knew that Sasha and Michael had slept together and apologized.

"I don't want to hear your excuses. I told you about Drew in confidence," Willow said. Sasha acknowledged that Willow was right. "Then why did you tell Cody you saw me kissing Drew? It had to be you," Willow added.

Sasha defended herself, saying she didn't think Cody would say anything. Willow told Sasha that she had trusted her and "now Michael has found out in the worst possible way."

Sasha asked if Willow had spoken to Michael that day. Willow said she had and was grateful that Michael was willing to give her another chance. "Thank God because he values our marriage," Willow said. Those words caused Sasha to flashback to her drunken night of mischief with Michael. Sasha assured Willow she had only told Cody about the kisses.

Sasha told Willow that she and Cody had broken up because they were cousins. She explained that Holly Sutton was her mother and Robert Scorpio was her father. Willow was surprised to hear that Sasha's mother was dead. "Were we ever really friends? Now it turns out I don't really know you at all," Willow marveled.

Willow was sorry that Sasha and Cody couldn't be together, but she was still angry at Sasha for not keeping her mouth shut.

"I never should have told Cody something that you told me in confidence, but you need to accept that everything that happened last night happened because you kissed Drew. And not just once like you told Michael," Sasha said, pointing out the obvious. Willow still put the blame on Sasha and Cody. "I am so sick of everyone around here justifying their bad behavior."

As Willow and Sasha argued, Carly walked in. Willow and Sasha saw the look on Carly's face and asked what was wrong. Carly told the women what had happened to Sam. When Carly and Sasha were later alone in the kitchen, Sidwell burst in and grabbed Sasha. He then asked Carly to give Sasha's mother a message: "I want my diamonds back."

Meanwhile, Willow searched for Drew and found him in the playroom. She told him she'd heard about Sam and took Drew in her arms. Drew told Willow he didn't know how he would be there for Scout when she needed her mom. Willow assured Drew that he would find a way. "I wish I was the man that you see when you look at me because that's the man that Scout needs," Drew said.

Drew admitted that he didn't know how to be a parent alone. Willow promised Drew he wasn't alone before she grabbed Drew and kissed him. Drew and Willow then ended up having sex on the floor of the playroom.

Nina met up with Ava at the Port Charles Grille at Ava's behest. Ava admitted she was a fool for ruining their friendship but was grateful for Nina's forgiveness. Still, she had a question. "Do you think we'll be able to get back to the friendship we had?" Ava sheepishly asked.

Nina told her that it might take time, but she was willing to work on their friendship. Nina went on to tell Ava all about Drew and Cody's incident at the Brown Dog and how Cody told the whole bar Drew and Willow had been kissing. Nina told Ava how Drew blurted the whole sordid thing out to Michael because "he wanted to save his campaign," Nina said. "Typical guy," Ava retorted.

Nina showed how much she had soured on Drew by saying: "Drew is a user. He's slick and smooth, and he's a backstabbing bastard." Ava could tell Nina wasn't telling her something. Nina spilled that she'd been having sex with Drew for months.

Nina admitted that her relationship with Drew started out as hate sex but that she tried to keep Drew's interest when she learned he had kissed Willow. Ava suggested Willow should be told the truth about Nina and Drew. Ava was surprised when she asked Nina if she and Drew were through, but Nina couldn't give her a straight answer.

"Nina, don't let a man ruin your relationship with your daughter. Please. I learned this the hard way," Ava reminded Nina. "You have to promise yourself that you'll put your daughter first," she added.

Alexis, Molly, and Kristina sat with TJ in his office. Alexis asked if he knew what caused Sam's heart attack, but TJ didn't know. He assured the Davis girls that the hospital was doing everything it could to get to the bottom of things. When Molly mentioned that Sam and Dante had just gotten engaged, TJ handed Alexis a plastic bag with Sam's engagement ring inside.

Kristina immediately became outraged, claiming the ring belonged on Sam's finger. TJ explained she couldn't have it on during an autopsy. Kristina also lost it when she heard that Sam was undergoing an autopsy. Alexis said she knew about it, and Molly told Kristina it was just standard procedure, but Kristina didn't care.

Molly tried calming Kristina down, explaining that an autopsy was the only way to learn what really happened to Sam. Alexis sat there with tears in her eyes as she listened to her daughters argue, but Molly finally got Kristina to see that an autopsy was necessary.

When TJ left the office to find a patient advocate to walk Alexis through the funeral arrangement process, Kristina and Molly apologized to Alexis. Their mother told Kristina she needed them to stick together, and they promised that they would. Alexis and her daughters then met with Felicia, who guided them through their grief.

Molly walked away to call a funeral home, and Kristina just walked away with no explanation. Felicia let Alexis cry on her shoulder while TJ followed Molly to check on how she was doing. "I'm heartbroken. I'm angry. I'm scared. It feels like we just lost Irene and now losing Sam. Honestly, TJ, I'm not sure how much more I can take," Molly said.

Molly and TJ returned to Alexis. Molly asked Alexis if there was anything she could do for her, but Alexis reminded Molly that she had just lost her own child and she didn't have to try to hold things together.

Jason asked Carly to stay at the Quartermaines so she could look after Danny and Scout. When Carly hung up the phone, Drew appeared in the living room. Drew felt helpless because he didn't feel he could comfort Scout. He didn't think he was enough for Scout. "She needs Sam. I need Sam. What do I know about raising a little girl?" Drew asked.

Michael then entered the living room and angrily asked, "What's wrong, Drew? Your poll numbers down?" Carly quickly jumped in and informed Michael there was something she needed to tell him. Drew excused himself to go check on Scout, leaving Carly and Michael alone.

Carly gently told a stunned Michael that Sam had died. Michael couldn't believe Sam was gone. "She's like the big sister I never had," he said. Just then, Kristina called and asked Michael to meet her at the GH chapel.

Before Michael arrived, Kristina sat in the chapel and angrily told God she had been a better sister, but now He had taken Sam. "I don't get it. I want answers. Why? Why did you do this? You just took them from me and just left me with nothing," Kristina raged. Michael ran in and took a hysterical Kristina in his arms.

Kristina opened up to Michael about how great a big sister Sam was, remembering when Sam had taken her to get birth control for the first time. "Sam was there for all my firsts," Kristina said. Michael acknowledged that Sam would do anything for the people she loved. As Kristina sobbed, Willow called. Michael ignored the call.

Diane walked into Robert's office just as he and Holly pulled away after their surprise kiss. Holly excused herself and left. Diane apologized for interrupting but had some legal papers to drop off. She also quickly walked out, so Robert was left alone.

Holly later opened the door to her hotel room to find it had been ransacked and trashed. She went straight back to Robert's office and told him that she was in danger.

After Diane returned to her office, she was surprised to see Jason. She could tell something was wrong and was floored when Jason told her Sam was gone. Diane wanted to call Alexis right away, but Jason pointed out she was still at the hospital. It finally hit her that Jason was also grieving. Diane was still in shock. "Sam, why there's somebody who faced their problems head-on. I always admired that about her," Diane said.

Jason could tell that Diane had her own problems, so she told him about finding Robert and Holly alone together. Diane was resigned to the idea that Robert still loved Holly. Jason was also surprised to learn that Sasha was Robert and Holly's daughter.

Diane finally told Jason her decision. "Losing Sam so suddenly made me see that life is short and Robert deserves to be with the love of his life. And I deserve the chance to find someone who loves me the way Robert loves Holly," Diane said.
