Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

Carly Spencer and Sonny Corinthos have been married so many times over the last quarter of a century that we've lost track of counting. It has always ended in disaster, and frequently ended after Carly would inevitably walk in on Sonny in bed with another woman. That's how their last marriage ended when Carly found Sonny in bed with Nina. (They were on a break.) It took a long time, but they finally found themselves as ideal co-parents and friends. And finally, they are truly enjoyable together. They know each other like the backs of their hands and can read one another like a book. The second Carly told Sonny that she was going to ruin his good mood, he asked if he needed his pills. Sonny knew something bad was coming, and he was right. His ex-wife caused another disaster by petitioning for a court date for their son before Michael was ready to step inside a courtroom. Watching Sonny and Carly's back-and-forth banter while Carly justified her actions and Sonny sighed and rolled his eyes was delightful. It reminded us why we love them so much — AS FRIENDS. There are very good reasons none of their marriages have ever worked out. They are just not a romantic couple, but they are each other's person through thick and thin. Hopefully, GH realizes that Carson's friendship is gold and keeps them just as they are till the end of soap time.
