The opening global box-office projections of the freshly released Jurassic World Rebirth seem to be quite spectacular. It is predicted that the dinosaur film is going to make up to a worldwide collection of a whopping $260 million, as reported by Deadline.
On the holiday weekend of 4th of July, it is projected that the film will increase its chances of making lucrative profits. The seventh film of the iconic Jurassic Park franchise stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend and many more.
Helmed by Gareth Edwards, the film is set in the aftermath of the events that took place in the last film of the franchise. It follows the journey of Zora Bennett, an undercover officer, who joins hands with teammate Duncan Kincaid and Dr. Henry Loomis to uncover the existence of some unsuccessful dinosaur mutations.
Its synopsis, as per IMDb, goes as follows:
"Five years post-Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), an expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough."

The budget of the film is reported to be up to $180 million, so a collection of $100+ on the opening weekend is quite impressive. As per the outlet, the international collection of the film, comprising countries including the Netherlands, Brazil, Australia and Mexico, is predicted to garner up to $130 million+. The film will also release in Japan, India and France.
Jurassic World Rebirth is already a part of an iconic science fiction franchise, with a star-studded cast. So, the fans of the franchise and the new generation will be keen to lap it up. Also, the holiday weekend of Independence Day always makes it an easy path for more audience engagement as well.
