More details on Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum's relationship
Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are both actors on the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. While it is hard to pinpoint the exact start of their relationship, the couple reportedly began dating sometime in 2023. Their relationship was made public in February last year, and they announced their marriage in June this year.
During an April interview with People Magazine this year, Erin reflected on how she, along with other co-stars of When Calls the Heart, found love on the set of the series. Krakow, who played schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton, found love with Rosenbaum, who played Mike Hickam.
“I think there's just always been a bit of magic in Hope Valley. There's something so special about our show and the energy in Jamestown [British Columbia, Canada], where we shoot,” Erin Krakow told the news outlet.
She revealed that magical things have happened on the set, citing an example of how it miraculously stopped raining when they needed to do an outdoor shoot.
“Things like we'll have a scene that's really important that we're supposed to film outside, and it's been pouring all day.”
Erin Krakow continued:
“And then miraculously, the rain just stops, and we're able to make it through.”
She told the magazine that while it's “not the most romantic illustration of what makes Hope Valley magical,” she believed that there was something “special about the show and the people involved.”
She added:
“When you put a bunch of special people together in one place, connections are bound to be made.”
