Mark Wahlberg, star of films like The Family Plan and Daddy’s Home, recently shared his idea of a perfect holiday. In an exclusive People magazine publication, Mark revealed that all he wanted for the upcoming holiday season was to have his family together in one place.
“All the kids being in one place at one time, for a good amount of time, where we have breakfast together, lunch together, dinner every night, and we're all hanging out.”
Mark Wahlberg told the publication that he was trying to spend most of his time with his family, as it's only a matter of time before his kids leave home to live their own lives.
“We're trying to figure out, in, say, four or five years, how can we be at four places at once?”
He also spoke about how fun it was to have his kids around.
“My kids love making fun of me. They imitate me, give me crap. They'll do the Boston accent.”
More details on Mark Wahlberg’s family
Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham married in 2009. The couple started dating in 2001 and had their children in the years leading up to their wedding. After their wedding at a Catholic church in Beverly Hills, the couple welcomed their fourth child in January 2010.
Mark Wahlberg is a family-oriented man who speaks about his family at every opportunity. In 2012, the actor sparked public outrage for his remarks on the 2001 American Airlines Flight crash. He said in an interview:
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did.” He added that “there would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'”
Recently, the actor expressed his excitement about all his children being present at the premiere of the movie Play Dirty.
He shared on the red carpet:
“I'm so excited that all of my kids [are here], because my daughter's been away at school, everybody's kind of doing their own thing at this age. I really want to just spend time with them. So it's great that we all got to get together, even if it's just for the night.”
