More details are being revealed about Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and a latest report is shedding some light on who Peter Parker may be up against this time. According to insider Alex Perez, the Spider-Man trilogy, will have five key villains as he answered the query and said:

"Wilson Fisk, Venom, Tombstone, Hammerhead, & Prowler are some of the names I’ve heard."

He also confirmed a few more details in the interview. According to Perez, Mr. Negative is not going to be in the movie and the inclusion of so many villains does not necessarily mean that they will all have key roles.

"A good majority of those villains being reported are meant to be a part of an opening montage similar to The Fantastic Four: First Steps, where we would see Spider-Man take on these villains over the years since No Way Home, and we’ll see how with each passing battle, Peter would upgrade his suit, reaching the one we see in Brand New Day."

The insider also stated that Sadie Sink's undisclosed role is her being an ally to Parker and not Spider-Man. As for Hulk, his inclusion in the film will set up his role for the Avengers films, and will not lead to any solo venture.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is bringing Peter Parker back to the spotlight, years after he erased his memories from the world and his loved ones. The film is taking place in a New York that has completely forgotten him, which hints at an emotional premise of the film. Joining Tom Holland as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man are Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Sadie Sink in an undisclosed role. Michael Mando is reprising his role as Punisher and talk on the street is that Charlie Cox's Daredevil may also make an appearance.

Directed by Destin Cretton, the film has already began filming at Glasgow, Scotland, transforming cobbled streets into New York City chaos, with Pinewood Studios hosting the cinematic magic behind the scenes. Armored vehicles, cryptic gang symbols, and comic nods hint at thrilling battles and secret histories waiting to be uncovered.

Feige and Pascal have promised a Spider-Man story that is personal, messy, and human: a hero struggling with memory, identity, and the heavy cost of doing good. With action grounded in real stakes and cameos that nod to the wider MCU, Brand New Day could be Peter Parker rediscovering his city, his friends, and the heart of being Spider-Man.

Set to swing into theaters July 31, 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start, a new day, and a reminder that even forgotten heroes can rise.
