The inaugural U.S. TikTok Awards this year were held on December 18 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Hosted by La La Anthony, the event featured awards in fourteen categories, with nominees including Alix Earle, Bretman Rock, and Brooke Monk. Several celebrities from the music world also graced the red carpet, including Ravyn Lenae (a rising R&B artist), Laufey, KATSEYE, Sombr, and Alex Warren.

Grammy-winning artist Ciara headlined the gala night, delivering an electrifying set featuring her biggest hits, viral TikTok dances, and high-energy choreography. Making a statement ahead of the awards, she said:

“There’s nothing like performing for a community that loves movement, music, and expression as much as I do.”

The celebrity-packed red carpet was not only a celebration of raw talent and creativity but also a showcase of fashion innovation. Tara Yummy

Tara Yummy wore a black-and-silver outfit with a plunging neckline, blending glamour with her signature alternative vibe. She completed her look with black stilettos.

Her real name is Tara Mirshokraei, and she was born to her parents, Arash Mirshokraei and Tabassom Sarlak. She rose to fame with an Instagram account that features her modelling shoots and adventure clicks.


Brooke Monk

Brooke Monk wore a chic, off-shoulder black gown with a subtle shimmer and a plunging neckline, giving off a classic Hollywood vibe mixed with the modern age. She paired the look with loose waves, minimalistic jewelry, and natural makeup.

Monk is a 22-year-old TikTok star known for her relatable lip-sync, dance, comedy skits, beauty, and lifestyle videos. On awards night, she was one of the five nominees for the major Creator of the Year award.


Dayane Chrissel

Dayane Chrissel wore a baby pink custom-made gown with embellished detailing and fur at the waist. She styled her hair in a classic updo. According to her Instagram account, LA-based stylist La Diva Lomas styled her outfit.

She won the “My Show Is On” award for Film and TV content this year, against creators like Reece Feldman and Just The Nobodys. She is a Mexican content creator famous for her pop culture commentary, celebrity gossip, and entertainment news.


Tefi Pessoa

Tefi Pessoa presented the Video of the Year award at the event. She set the pink carpet on fire as she donned a black shimmery gown with long sleeves and a high neckline that classically highlighted her silhouette.

Pessoa is a Brazilian-Colombian content creator, media personality, and commentator widely known as the internet’s “big sister” or “best friend.”


Jeremiah Brown

Jeremiah Brown, Love Island USA Season 7 star, arrived at the event in a structured white blazer and matching white trousers, paired with a low-cut top underneath. The 25-year-old model completed his suave look with polished black dress shoes. He also won the Rising Star of the Year award.

Brown’s big break came with his debut on Love Island USA. He is of Nigerian and Irish heritage and grew up with three sisters. He earned a degree in Film before moving to Los Angeles to pursue modelling.


Jools Lebron

Jools Lebron wore a sleek and shimmery ensemble at the star-studded event. She served as a presenter for the Muse of the Year award. Lebron is a Chicago-based social media influencer known for popularizing the phrase “very demure, very mindful.” Mashable noted her outfit as “demure as always.”

Ashby Florence

Ashby Florence turned heads at the gala event as she wore a bright red sequinned gown emblazoned with the words “I Heart Ashby” on the front. She set the tone for self-love in her red carpet look, designed by Marc Bouwer.

Florence presented the Live Creator of the Year award. She is a comedic content creator best known for dressing up as The Lorax and Hamilton. She is also a graphic designer by profession.

These influencers celebrated the “New Era, New Icons” theme of the TikTok Awards with their bold, edgy, and dramatic red carpet looks and playful personalities. Their appearances proved that TikTok influencers can rival traditional red carpets.

The TikTok Awards have previously been held in various countries and regions, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and France, prior to the inaugural U.S. edition.

The presenters at the award show featured a mix of celebrity and creator presenters, including Paris Hilton, Bethenny Frankel, Jordan Chiles, Josh Richards, Jools Lebron, Trixie Mattel, Tefi Pessoa, and more.
