Phoenix Critics Circle (PCC) 2025 nominations: Complete list explored

The Phoenix Critics Circle (PCC) has officially revealed its complete slate of nominations for 2025. Each December, the group brings together its members from print, radio, television, and online media to check the year's releases and highlight the best films and performances.

Films such as One Battle After Another, Sinners, Hamnet, It Was Just an Accident, and Sentimental Value have become notable contenders for the Phoenix Critics Circle (PCC) 2025 awards. The first two projects are leading in overall PCC nominations.

Winners will be officially announced on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Phoenix Critics Circle Awards Party at the Phoenix Film Festival Event and Ticket Center.

Phoenix Critics Circle (PCC) issued an official press release to announce this year's nominees. It read:

"Phoenix Critics Circle members have narrowed the films from 2025 to the top nominees in each category. Voting is underway for the winners, and they will be announced the evening of Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at the annual Phoenix Critics Circle Awards Party at the Phoenix Film Festival Event and Ticket Center."

A description on the official Phoenix Critics Circle website read:

"The Phoenix Critics Circle is dedicated to promoting both the larger film industry and our local film community. We are writers, reviewers, and cinema historians moving the conversation forward, through print, broadcast, and online media both within Arizona and nationwide. Because of our affiliation with the Phoenix Film Foundation, PCC members also serve as hosts for movie screenings hosted by the foundation, question and answer sessions with filmmakers, and judges for the annual Phoenix Film Festival."
