Popular Twitch streamer Frogan has come under fire for her controversial statement about the U.S. military. A video from her stream surfaced on X on October 20, 2024, in which she said she did not pity the soldiers. Not only that, but she hoped the U.S. military soldiers would develop PTSD. She said:

“I will never ever have any f**king pity for any f**king soldiers. US military? Boo f**king who. I hope you get PTSD.”

Her statement has drawn criticism from social media users. Several X users expressed disapproval, with one netizen writing,

“why does she live in America then.”

Netizens backlashed her, suggesting that she should go back to her home country, while others pointed out that it is the U.S. soldiers who protect them.

“I understand not liking the Army for many reason but to wish harm to anyone is just not it,” an X user commented.
“IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, THEN GO BACK TO YOUR THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!” a social media user exclaimed.
“Wishing PTSD on the people who are out there to save you is wild,” a person wrote on X.

Social media users demanded Frogan be banned, while war veterans expressed disgust over her statement.

“Veterans who survived war and have PTSD rn:” a netizen reacted.
“This person not being banned yet is f**king insane,” an X user wrote.
“As a veteran with PTSD from Iraq, this is disgusting,” a person pointed out.
“You have to be a truly horrible individual to speak like that,” a social media user mentioned.

Frogan also said the ones who repent what they did don’t ‘deserve’ PTSD

In the viral clip, Frogan noted the ones who acknowledged their wrongdoing should not deserve PTSD. She expressed frustration, stating that while some people might only be concerned about material things like wanting a Camaro or avoiding student loans, she wished they would experience PTSD and return to America without health insurance. Frogan said:

“The US military that are like yeah, you know I did this back then but now I know it’s wrong, like I am changed, f*ck imperialism, f*ck this, you don’t deserve the PTSD.”

However, on October 21, 2024, she addressed the controversy on X, acknowledging that the U.S. military has committed "some of the most horrific crimes against humanity." However, she admitted that certain comments made during her livestream were poorly phrased. According to her post,

“i go onto clarify in the clip that i do not mean “all” military, but specifically those with no remorse. what i said was out of frustration as they are currently bombing my family in the name of “liberation”. i realize that wishing people harm isn’t the best way to talk about these issues and that i could have talked about these topics in a more sensitive way.”

Frogan stated that the U.S. military has committed horrific crimes against humanity in modern times, mentioning countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. She clarified that her anger is directed at those who support these war crimes as though they "liberated" her people, calling it horrific and disgusting.
